Stopped in for a couple cheese burgers and was not disappointed. Everything is made to order and you can watch h them make your food. Also great prices, 3 cheese burgers were 9 bucks so you can't beat
The best whole-in-the-wall find. Quick, friendly, and DELICIOUS burgers. They don't have a broad menu, but what they do have is great. Downtown Monticello. Parking is scarce during the week, but they had more seating than I could find in pictures, so I added a few more pics for others to see. If you get a chance, ask them about the history. It's fascinating!Kid-friendliness: Play pool and eat good food!

It's exactly what you'd expect for a classic "dirty spoon". Simple, old-style decor and nothing fancy. The atmosphere is Good ol' boy, but every bit of welcoming and neighborly.The rumor about the burgers here absolutely true. It is the most simple burger ever, but it's not to be missed. Definitely stop in when you're passing through.
