The food is generally good the attitude toward the customer by the host is another story. In this finacial climate you would think that customers would be treated with a modicum of respect, instead of disinterest and rudeness. My first and last visit. Too many Mexican options to put up with that nonsense.
This was our first time at this El Nopal. the food was good (my tortillia was a little tough) but all in all it was good we will go back. New Albany in Indiana is by far outstanding.
I’ve been to El Nopal quite a few times over the years, and it’s always a dependable spot when we’re craving Mexican food. The tacos are consistently good, and the hot sauce is one of my favorite parts of the meal. The service is usually quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. It’s a place we keep coming back to because we know what to expect. Solid food, good portions, and a reliable choice whenever we’re in the mood for tacos.

The staff is always kind and efficient, keeping up with the fast pace of the busy establishment. While the entryway and decor may not be the most attractive, the food is satisfactory, and the margaritas are decent. Customers can enjoy a variety of dishes, including the shredded beef macho burrito, which is a local favorite. With ample parking and a festive atmosphere, El Nopal Mount Washington is a great spot for authentic Mexican cuisine.
