Food was great! Came out hot, fast and fresh. I had the snitzel and that alone took up the whole plate. Our server seemed new. The other servers did team service, jumped in and ensured we had everything we needed and saved the night. Next time I'm trying dessert. They look amazing but was too full. Great job backstreet cafe!
We went for lunch, I had the deluxe cheeseburger with seasoned fries, and my husband had the country-fried steak with mashed taters and white country gravy and corn. It was the best burger I have had in a long time. It was a thick burger with the right amount of seasoning and it was juicy and cooked just right, and the garnish was fresh and crunchy and The fries were hot and crispy. Ordered the special. Schnitzel, and 3 sides, I asked for gravy on the side. The German potato salad was very good. It did have onions in it fur those who do not like onions. red cabbage n green beans were also good. Went when it opened and seated before the crowd came in. It was very busy around lunch time. They do not have a sign out , but need to know it's seat yourself. There were some people waiting to be seated that were not aware. I didn't get a dessert but the cakes...read full review
