“The food was awesome, but the service even better. We had never been to a Slim Chickens before but are getting one in our town (opening Monday in London, KY). We were in Somerset and decided to give it a try to see if we should be happy to be getting one or nah. We went into the restaurant as you do all new places; a bit confused as to what is offered, what you should order, even the flavors of things. To my delight, the young lady behind the counter (named Jessi S. ) immediately made us feel comfortable- not rushed at all- while admittedly my husband and I were taking a bit. In fact, she very happily explained the menu, the flavors of the sauces, the different options and even her personal thoughts about the food (basically ALL of it was amazing she said with complete sincerity that was seen in her face, but she shared a few personal favorites as well). We thoroughly enjoyed each bite of our tenders and wings, and might I add that your ranch is ah-mazing! I believe I could nearly wash everything down with it! Back to the service, I made eye contact near the end of our meal with Jessi and she asked what we thought, once again expressing true interest our opinions. I don't know about the rest of your staff, as this was our first visit and we only interacted with Jessi, but she is a Jewel! very good for your business. Wow. We left both feeling very pleasantly surprised and thoroughly convinced that we will be loyal customers of the Slim Chickens we are receiving here in London, after just one visit at your Somerset store.”

“Best breakfast in the world .. I have ate at many Hardee's and I've lived in Eubank for 5 years and I can say I eat there quite often to keep from going to Somerset .... but that's beside the point. These people, you can taste the love and pride in those biscuits”

“This place is wild. I'm from New jersey, and I had no idea there was a chain drive through Italian restaurant. it is not authentically Italian italian, but it is American italian. It's really good, and it reminds me of classic American Italian comfort food. I have the spaghetti with meat sauce, and it was really good. I was really surprised and I thought it was not going to be good, but it was very hot, very fresh, and they gave me so many cheese packets. The breadsticks were soft and buttery. I don't think this place would do well in new jersey, because they are so many Italians and local Italian mom-and-pop stores that this chain restaurant may not do well. But honestly, it was really good. I would return”

“I love this place. Amanda is the most awesome person you can meet. You can talk to her about anything. She has alot of loyal customers. The atmosphere is very chill. All the customers are friendly, mostly locals. We pay games on the television on Mondays. You can come in for snacks if you don't drink, socialize, and play games.”

We were just asking her a question and she got very rude with us over the menu, I said she should of let us know and she really got rude then, the thing about it is we have always liked the place and have always been polite to her other times we have been there, now It kind of makes me not want to go back, but i guess it really don't matter if we do or not.”

“El Taxco has very pretty and colorful decoration + designs! I really enjoyed the waitress. She was kind and the food came out fast. The only complaint I have is that the pricing for 2 people was around $36. Also the queso cheese was very runny. It was almost a water consistency.

Kid-friendliness: There is lots of colorful tables with animals and different designs on them. Many colorful chairs as well. They also have lots of different machines for fake tattoos, gum, and toys that children can buy with a quarter
