“Very dirty inside, bathrooms are very telling to a business. It was busy when we went so we decided to give them a try. Sat and waited more than 30 minutes for a meal in the drive thru as all booths were full. We didn't expect a short wait seeing that. Food was hot and sauces were in the bag. Drinks were correct and concrete mixers were delicious. Staff handled the rush like champs!“

We were in Somerset and decided to give it a try to see if we should be happy to be getting one or nah. We went into the restaurant as you do all new places; a bit confused as to what is offered, what you should order, even the flavors of things. To my delight, the young lady behind the counter (named Jessi S. ) immediately made us feel comfortable- not rushed at all- while admittedly my husband and I were taking a bit. In fact, she very happily explained the menu, the flavors of the sauces, the different options and even her personal thoughts about the food (basically ALL of it was amazing she said with complete sincerity that was seen in her face, but she shared a few personal favorites as well). We thoroughly enjoyed each bite of our tenders and wings, and might I add that your ranch is ah-mazing! I believe I could nearly wash everything down with it! Back to the service, I made eye contact near the end of our meal with Jessi and she asked what we thought, once again expressing true interest our opinions. I don't know about the rest of your staff, as this was our first visit and we only interacted with Jessi, but she is a Jewel! very good for your business. Wow. We left both feeling very pleasantly surprised and thoroughly convinced that we will be loyal customers of the Slim Chickens we are receiving here in London, after just one visit at your Somerset store.“

“Came here for dinner with my wife and we sat out on the back patio. The weather was nice and they had shades they pulled down to keep the sun out of our eyes and we had a great view of the lake. We got the fried pickles and beer cheese for an appetizer and really enjoyed them. I got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and it was solid. My wife thought her burger was fine but not great. We will likely be back.“

“We have always had great things to say about this restaurant and it’s our favorite spot for dinner or lunch. Tonight made us love it even more! We have never had a bad experience here. Tonight, we ordered our appetizer and our meal shortly after. We got our appetizer very fast, was eating and talking, about 15 minutes goes by and they let us know they accidentally gave our food to another party but were rushing our order and it should be out soon and they comped our appetizer. We were very appreciative especially since we didn’t mind at all that our food went to a different party! That was the first time we have ever not had something run smoothly out of the hundreds of times we’ve been here, so it was no big deal. The manager was very nice and eventually brought the food out when it was done. It was fresh and delicious as usual. By the end of our meal, they decided to comp the entire thing. We were fine with paying the entire bill, we love this restaurant and always have amazing service, so for them to do that over an inconvenience like that was so appreciated! We of course will be back and we always brag on this restaurant!“

“This review really isn’t to rehash the past or dwell on an old experience. I’m writing it because I genuinely want to pay homage to the manager on duty right now on October 3 2026 at 3:04 PM who took the time to help me today.

I had the opportunity to speak with her for about 5-15 minutes and I really have to take a moment to acknowledge the service coming from this lady . I really appreciated how willing she was to listen to me , to help me, and to take the time to work through everything with me. Extremely helpful throughout the entirety of our conversation, and I could tell that she genuinely wanted to make sure my concerns were addressed.

After having tried to get in contact with someone previously, I’m honestly really glad I finally got the opportunity to speak with her ( GOSH what is her name ! ) . She could have easily brushed the situation off because some time had passed, but instead, she took the time to hear me out and work toward a resolution.

This kind of customer service deserves recognition. I genuinely appreciate the way she handled our conversation today and I wanted to make sure her effort didn’t go unnoticed. Unnamed Manager on duty right now , you rock ! I’m looking forward to giving Texas Roadhouse another chance, and I hope this review gets back to her because she deserves to know that her kindness and willingness to help made a difference.( If i find her name I will edit this review hahahaha )

“The Popeyes location in Somerset, Kentucky has always provided fast service and friendly staff members. I always order using the Popeyes app to make it easier to customize and place my order, it also makes it quicker in the drive thru so that I receive my food faster. All of the chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, sauces, biscuits, Cajun mashed potatoes, red beans and rice, Cajun rice, drinks and strawberry cheesecake has been very delicious! I love that chicken from Popeyes!“
