“The food was awesome, but the service even better. We had never been to a Slim Chickens before but are getting one in our town (opening Monday in London, KY). We were in Somerset and decided to give it a try to see if we should be happy to be getting one or nah. We went into the restaurant as you do all new places; a bit confused as to what is offered, what you should order, even the flavors of things. To my delight, the young lady behind the counter (named Jessi S. ) immediately made us feel comfortable- not rushed at all- while admittedly my husband and I were taking a bit. In fact, she very happily explained the menu, the flavors of the sauces, the different options and even her personal thoughts about the food (basically ALL of it was amazing she said with complete sincerity that was seen in her face, but she shared a few personal favorites as well). We thoroughly enjoyed each bite of our tenders and wings, and might I add that your ranch is ah-mazing! I believe I could nearly wash everything down with it! Back to the service, I made eye contact near the end of our meal with Jessi and she asked what we thought, once again expressing true interest our opinions. I don't know about the rest of your staff, as this was our first visit and we only interacted with Jessi, but she is a Jewel! very good for your business. Wow. We left both feeling very pleasantly surprised and thoroughly convinced that we will be loyal customers of the Slim Chickens we are receiving here in London, after just one visit at your Somerset store.“

“The view of the lake was awesome! The dinner was OK to good. I had the salmon. It was good. The salmon was cooked well. The sauce (sundried tomato cream) was tasty. The rice was OK- kind of bland. I liked the asparagus.

Hubby had steak tips and enjoyed it with the baked potatoes and asparagus.

Our 2 grandkids ordered flat bread and chicken Alfredo from the kids menu. The flatbread was muh. The oldest liked the Alfredo. They loved the rolls and the sweet butter.

Hands down (all four of us agreed), the best part of the meal was the desserts! We shared death by chocolate, carrot cake, and the cheesecake. We would recommend all three.

Oddly, Tuesdays are advertised as kids eat free with an adult entree purchase. The server forgot to comp the kids meals because she said we were her first customers, since they started that special in early June, to take advantage of it.

I HATED the fact that there were flies in the dining room! We and others kept busy keeping a couple of the disgusting flies away from our food. That was NOT pleasant!

“Very dirty inside, bathrooms are very telling to a business. It was busy when we went so we decided to give them a try. Sat and waited more than 30 minutes for a meal in the drive thru as all booths were full. We didn't expect a short wait seeing that. Food was hot and sauces were in the bag. Drinks were correct and concrete mixers were delicious. Staff handled the rush like champs!“

“Enjoyed some drinks here before hitting downtown bowling alley is run down and kind of gross and the crowd is all under 30 but nevertheless had a couple vegas bombs and asked for a leg spreader lol and apparently no one in Ky knows that one.“

“We have always had great things to say about this restaurant and it’s our favorite spot for dinner or lunch. Tonight made us love it even more! We have never had a bad experience here. Tonight, we ordered our appetizer and our meal shortly after. We got our appetizer very fast, was eating and talking, about 15 minutes goes by and they let us know they accidentally gave our food to another party but were rushing our order and it should be out soon and they comped our appetizer. We were very appreciative especially since we didn’t mind at all that our food went to a different party! That was the first time we have ever not had something run smoothly out of the hundreds of times we’ve been here, so it was no big deal. The manager was very nice and eventually brought the food out when it was done. It was fresh and delicious as usual. By the end of our meal, they decided to comp the entire thing. We were fine with paying the entire bill, we love this restaurant and always have amazing service, so for them to do that over an inconvenience like that was so appreciated! We of course will be back and we always brag on this restaurant!“

“The only problem with Texas Roadhouse is their seating rules. We were the first in the door today (3 pm). We asked to be seated near the front (due to mobility issues) but we were seated in the far back corner area. We were told that there are no servers for the front area because that area is for closers.(??) So even though you do have handicap parking, you do not offer suitable seating for those with mobility issues near the front. We have had the same issue with all T R restaurants unless we just happen to be there at the right time for servers to be available for the tables close to the front. Surely you can come up with a solution that will offer seating for older folks/handicapped folks, that is closer to the front. Our server today, was wonderful and our food was perfect too.“

I always order using the Popeyes app to make it easier to customize and place my order, it also makes it quicker in the drive thru so that I receive my food faster. All of the chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, sauces, biscuits, Cajun mashed potatoes, red beans and rice, Cajun rice, drinks and strawberry cheesecake has been very delicious!
