“Ladawn was amazing from booking to delivery! We found her at a bridal show hosted at the Manor House & we immediately knew we needed to book her after sampling the cake because OHMYGOODNESS. The perfect balance of sweetness and flavor. The texture was soft and spongy. The cake was moist and held its shape all night! And the filling as well as the buttercream frosting complimented the cake perfectly. The cake tasting was such a fun experience during the stress of wedding planning and made for a fun date night. She was so helpful when it came to designing the cake. I knew I wanted something simple but elegant & showed her a few inspo pictures. On the day of our wedding I left some flowers on the cake table and gave her creative freedom and she blew my expectations out of the water.“

My husband and daughters are cake people, me not so much. To me all cake taste like it's from a box. Boy, was I wrong! This is the best cake I have ever had. It was a double layer, 8 inch with basketweave and colorful flowers. The cake was so moist and dense....my favorite kind. I'm embarrassed to say how many "little" pieces I had. It was so delicious and I will continue to order from this bakery. “The sourdough at this place is just as excellent as all the reviews say. The unsung hero of the menu however are the scones. I am a scone hater and this scone transformed me. Awful host but everybody else was great!

This was my first visit at Perkins.
Our server Leeli was amazing! Very attentive and lovely personality. Explained everything to us and was just warm and welcoming.
The food was amazing also! Everything was just delightful!

**Now the host, Jade/Sage (can't recall which), is a whole other story. Her attitude clearly does not align with what is required of someone who has to deal with the public, at any level! She was savage, completely unpleasant. And placed her phone in the menu, was on her phone the whole time; and her beenie pulled down over her ears to try to hide her earpiece! She is really bad! How can you have her as the first person your customers meet when they walk in? I don't get it 🤔
I even overhead her colleagues (the manager and another male colleague) trying to talk to her about her attitude and , SHE DOES NOT CARE!!“
