DO NOT GO HERE!! Bartender is awful!! We were denied service because our id’s were from out of town!! Bar is empty and smells of armpits!! DO NOT GO HERE!!

Just came across this place randomly while out with some friends. Drinks were great and service was awesome!
What can I say other than 5 stars. Every time I'm in town I always stop by Tavern on York. The bartenders (especially Madison) are super friendly and welcoming. The drink prices are responsible and shots are delicious. I always have a good time when I'm here and make it a point to stop in when I'm traveling to Newport.

Great staff and service. Attentive and nice. Drinks are reasonably priced. Tap beer selection is limited though. Mixed drinks were well made. Music is all over the place but not bad. Great spot to chill before and after a show at Ovation down the block. Can get tight if packed.
