Pepper Pod is the best. I have relished my every visit there for decades. It's a diner: don't be snobs about it and complain that a slight variation in a pancake did not taste like filet mignon. I wish they were still 24/7. I love the food and atmosphere, plus: they always have the most charming and adorable waitresses. I'm currently feeling down about my life, and so I have decided to visit the Pepper Pod soon.
I had dinner at the Pepper Pod restaurant on March 27th and it was just okay. Nothing special. I had ordered the rib-eye steak before and it was wonderful but it wasn't last night. It was very tough even though I ordered it medium rare. The lady with me ordered hers well done and she could hardly eat it at all. I had onion rings and slaw with the steak plus the drink came to a little over $14 which was an okay price but I really wish the steak had been tender.
