My family went to EVelocity at Newport on the Levy once we got our Pogo Passes. Never heard of it beforehand but had a great time! I have teens and they lived the full hour of game time. We spent a decent amount on food and drinks but didn’t have to pay anything for the games. It’s nice because it was raining so perfect for winter time or rainy days and loved that it’s in a fun area.
This place is so much fun. Between bowling, cornhole and just all the stuff to do I think me and my buddy spent a solid five hours in there.
My kids had a ball playing every single game in the arcade. The food was really good, which I didn't expect. We tried to bowl but the wait for a lane was over an hour. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the credits to play games are so expensive and the prizes for tickets are lame.

Velocity Newport - Bowling & Billiards offers a fun atmosphere for families looking to enjoy bowling and arcade games. Many reviews highlight the friendly service provided by staff members, such as Conner and Kevin, who ensure that guests feel welcomed and have a great time. The arcade experience was enhanced by a bartender named Chris, who was described as honest and personable, making excellent drinks.
However, some guests mentioned issues with the bowling lanes. On quieter nights, like Mondays, there were reports of insufficient staff leading to problems with pin resetting and bowling balls getting stuck. The bowling balls themselves were noted to be in rough shape, with limited weight options available. While the venue is ideal for families and casual bowlers, experienced bowlers may find the lane conditions challenging.
Despite these drawbacks, the overall vibe at Velocity Newport is positive, with many praising the atmosphere and the engaging staff, making it a recommended spot for family outings and casual entertainment.
