This place is amazing! I love Legos and my daughter and nephew do as well. Its low key, fun to build, they sell Legos there too, it's a great place to be. The drinks are fun too and creative.

Such a fun place and prices are so reasonable! We rented a $4 set for my 4 year old son and he had a great time! They sell snacks and drinks and Lego sets as well.

This is a really great place for a family outing or for adult Lego fans. You can rent sets to build, which allows you to have the fun of building without paying full price for the set or needing to have room to store it...
They also sell Lego sets, Minifigures, Lego themed items (bracelets, wallets, pens, etc) and you can build your own Minifigures from a selection of parts.
Friendly staff and a good selection of snacks too!

This was an amazing place to stop with the kids. For a few dollars they can build a Lego set and there are drinks and snacks for a very reasonable price.

It's a great place to stop and take a break after visiting the aquarium next door.

Absolutely phenomenal! It's a little small but can accommodate a couple of parties.

The premise is simple, you can rent a set of Legos based on how long it usually takes a person to build the set. I believe they go from 5-15 mins, 15-30 mins, and over 30 mins...or something similar. The sets range from kid-friendly to the Batman bust.

If you just want to chill without building something in particular, you can rent out a table for $5 and relax just mindlessly connecting a different array of Legos.

Once you complete your set you can return it as is, you don't need to break it down, and even rent a different set.

There is also a small selection of snacks sold here and I believe you can rent out a small party room for events.

Came across this place randomly on a trip to the Levee. We went in just to check it out but ended up staying. The owner was very welcoming. For $14 we were both able to get a drink, a small snack, and about an hour of Star Wars Lego fun.
What I loved about this place was the range of people coming in. There were families, couples on dates like us, but it would also be a place I would go alone. There was a great atmosphere. It is a unique concept!!

Such a fun way to spend the afternoon. We build a couple different Lego sets from Inside out 2.. my son watched the movie 10 times before we went so it was great to build them there! We bought new mini figs and just had a nice time there. Will be back again!

This is one of our family's favorite places to go. The owners are super nice and the cafe space is very welcoming and fun. This is a must visit for LEGO lovers of all ages!

Wow, what a wonderful place!! We visited from out of town and this was probably our favorite stop! As avid Lego fans, we love assembling, but run out of places to put them. We had so much fun renting a set that we came back the next day to rent another! We also got the “Emmett” drink, which was delicious. The place was clean and relaxing, and owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back the next time we’re in town!

To celebrate our wedding anniversary, my Lego enthusiast husband and I traveled from Colorado just for this store/experience! We had a wonderful time building our sets (took around 3 hours) and enjoyed a snack and a delicious custom drink - Sprite + peach puree + strawberry puree.

Dan and Serenity were so sweet and it was fun hearing their story on how they started The Brickery Cafe & Play. We highly recommend this place - it was totally worth it!

Incredibly nice owner. And just a very good idea overall, never seen this done anywhere

You can "rent" a Lego set and build it for a fraction of the price, which is everything most people will do to a Lego set anyways. It's super fun and definitely worth it

For anyone also wanting to get a drink I recommend the unikitty.

On our way home to St. Louis today, we simply had to make a quick detour and swing by the first Lego cafe in the US, The Brickery Cafe & Play at Newport on the Levee in greater Cincinnati/Newport, KY!

Owned & operated by the incredible Daniel Johnson and his kind, friendly wife, Serenity - both of whom you should also go listen to as their wonderful musical alter ego, The Bell and the Hammer - The Brickery is literally a dream come true, both for the Johnsons, who have long been passionate Lego enthusiasts, but also for the thousands of people who stream through its doors throughout the week.

We were blown away by the beautiful Jonathan Queen original mural adorning the cafe’s wall - seriously, the detail is amazing, but then again, all of Jonathan’s artwork is - and instantly loved the easy-to-access building tables, rent-a-Lego-kits rated by time it takes to build them, and the tasty specialty sodas, many cleverly referencing Lego Movie characters! Our kids had so much fun, and my wife and I couldn’t help but note how fun this place would be for a date night, team-building for professionals, a birthday party, and more.

It’s obvious that The Brickery Cafe & Play is a labor of love for the Johnsons, and it’s a magical experience that I’d recommend to anyone who’s passionate about Lego and ready for fun. Go visit, go build, and tell all of your friends!

Kid-friendliness: Incredibly fun for kids of all ages!

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to negotiate in a wheelchair throughout the store.
