It was my first time here. If I lived closer, I'd come here often. They have lots of barrel-aged selections, which should be obvious given the name of the brewery. I liked everything I had.
They have food, and we tried the smoked wings, which were tender and flavorful.
Definitely worth a visit or 10.

Had the pleasure of doing a New Riff tasting at this bar and it was excellent. Had the master distiller come out from New Riff and explain the history & gave us an insight on some of their products. Great location and one of the largest selections of alcohol that I have ever seen when it comes to bourbon and whiskey. Would definitely come again.

Love Wooden Cask! The wings are my go to - always full of flavor. The beer is also always on point. My favorite is the Winter Ale (if you’re lucky enough to catch it in season) honorable mention to Eden behind the bar, she is the best! Super attentive, friendly, and just makes the whole experience even better. Definitely one of my favorite spots in NKY.

So walked into your bar no intro rom bar tender. She was a lil busy not overwhelming. There were 2 barstools at bar sat down people came in formed a line she went to serve them first I have been sitting @:4 min. She said my bad didn't see ya ok she then proceeded to help the customer that we in line after my entrance. The served guest already settled 6 min later I left very mad slighted. Poor customer service. Totally fine waiting but not ignored you should do better cause I am shouting out to everyone about the shitty service on an event night river roots

What a great place we had the fortune to walk into. The atmosphere is very comforting and the food is outstanding. The beer is absolutely wonderful. Had the #14 Czech Yourself Pilsner. The bartenders loved working here and it shows. Laci and her coworker were so enthusiastic about the beers and the food. Please come give this place a try.

This place was pretty spectacular! I've been a number of times and every time I go it's just stellar! The beer is delicious, the service is always friendly and knowledgeable. And once again the beers just delicious.
Great place, been there many times. Solid-- if not enormous-- beer selection. The music playlist is (and has been for years) all 90s rock, and it's amazing.

Love this place. Only get to visit a few times a year. Probably good that I don't live nearby. I would be there all time. The bartenders I have met over the last few years are all nice people, easy to talk with. Several different good beers, IPAs, lagers and porters to name a few styles. Stopped by for my first visit for an early lunch. The smoked ham and pimento cheese panini was very good. I had a flight consisting of the Czech pilsner (refreshing, and with a note of corn), the blueberry lager (very subtle on the fruit flavor), the hopping pils (I did not detect much in the wat of a hop note on this one), and the peach cider (again, subtle fruit flavor). The server was attentive without being bothersome, and what I also liked was the amount of cleaning going on - having managed restaurants I have become a bit disenchanted with most cleanliness standards). This is a good joint, and one I will be returning to visit.
