I walked to this BBQ joint to grab lunch. Had no idea it was in a bar, but it's absolutely the BEST BBQ IN NEWPORT!!!I ordered a full rack of ribs and a brisket slider to-go. The man who took my order was very friendly, as well as the guy who was cooking. Even tho it was 3 minutes before listed opening time, I sensed no annoyance with my being there. I waited outside with their buzzer, and about 15 minutes later, I was given everything perfectly packaged for the walk home....read full review
Love their choice of beers. Their drinks for my wife were really really good. The reason for the 3 on the food was because I had 1 thing from there and it was ok. Maybe I need to have more to better get an idea but for now a 3.

We were traveling from Louisville KY to home in Akron Ohio. We were craving some bbq! We found Beards and Belly and went to check it out. We were so happy we did! Food was AMAZING!! Their recipe for greens, potato salad and pickle salad were the best we’ve ever had!! BBQ was AMAZING! Brisket, pork belly and sausage! It was definitely finger licking good!! The atmosphere and the jolly bearded guys were so friendly too!We will be back!
