“We stayed 10/1-3 for fall break tent camping and had a fantastic time! The first night/most of the next day, the power was out to the bathhouse and bathrooms at the campground, which sucked, but what can you do when a hurricane comes through a landlocked state 😂 To make up for those, the lodge was open for showers/bathrooms and the park provided a portable bathroom until everything back back up and running. We went on the Raven Bridge trail and it was so nice! I'm not sure if it had been affected by the storm, but you couldn't tell at all, so if they cleaned it up, great job! X Cave tour was cooler than last time because the power was out and we got to use flashlights The last night, we ate takeout from the lodge restaurant and it was absolutely yummy. Decent prices for a state park restaurant. Definitely making this an annual family trip from now on. Thank you guys for working hard to keep the park nice 💜”

“Quiet..very much so since it was between lunch and dinner time.
The background music was exactly that, not so loud that my husband and myself couldn't have a conversation.
The service was prompt and the food fresh, hot and ample portions!
Didn't try desert but plan to in the near future!”

“We’re visiting Carter caves and decided to find a pizza place for dinner. This place is delicious with friendly staff and feeling of small town charm! The Mac n cheese pizza and cinnamon dessert were really good!”

“Very family-friendly lodge and restaurant
They were in the middle of their local Christmas in July festival and they had Christmas vacation playing in the outdoor amphitheater and the grinch had breakfast with everyone this morning it was so cute ? I would love to do this again next year with more family and friends ?”

“Very friendly folks, I love Kentucky so much that we were down there on vacation for 3 nights. I love how everyone treated me like one of their own. I feel ignored and not very important where I come from. This made me feel loved and appreciated, and I will never forget it. I will probably move down there someday soon. I feel so invisible where I am from in ohio. Everyone always doing their own thing. So sad ?”

“Great workers there, very friendly and efficient. Everything looks and smells clean. Hot dog sauce not as good as it used to be, but food overall is good for DQ.

Parking: There’s enough room to even park a trailer on the side.”
