Ice Cream Shops in Olive Hill

“Was visiting Carter Caves State Park nearby, and stopped by Comet's for lunch. We got the Appalachian Dogs and Cheeseburger Sliders. In a word, delicious. The hotdogs they used tasted great and had "snap" (so NOT the soggy, water-cooked kind that some reviewers prefer), and buns were fresh and butter toasted. This place has everything you could want in a road side food stand (note: all outdoor seating). They do the eastern KY/WV chili dog style proud. (We'll have to come back sometime to try the ice cream).“

“If I'm ever in the mood for icecream I always go here. The wait is kind of crazy for drive thru but the food makes up for it. The staff is always friendly and they keep it pretty clean. Their $5 lunch and $6 lunch is always a good option and you get their awesome ice cream for dessert included in that price!“
