WOW! We just stopped here to grab some fried chicken and catfish for dinner later but instead of waiting we ate ourselves into a coma! This is by far the best southern home cooking I've ever had, (don't tell my grandma I said that!). The catfish was spiced and cooked so well it needed no sauce, the Mac and cheese was sinfully rich, the fried okra had the perfect crunch and flavor, THE COLLARD GREENS OMG, fried chicken was crisp and delicious and the bananna pudding must...
My food was very good..but my daughter had a salad,and ended up with food poisoning. I might give it another try, but I definitely won't try the salad. It had chicken, eggs, and the salad dressing that could have been bad.
Everything was awesome! Mac and cheese was perfect, collards were super vinegary and tasty. Large piece of catfish, too. We will be back to try more things next time we're through Paducah.
