The best original glazed doughnuts I've ever ate! No exaggeration! Even better than a hot Krispy Kreme. They're so good that even if they're two days old they still taste and feel fresh.
When I was young my brother Noman worked for Red, he would bring donuts home every night. The donuts were amazing then and have not changed in 60 years. I moved away from Paducah but when I visit, stopping at Red’s is a must!
New to Paducah and tried this local donut shop. We dropped in on a Sunday around 9:30 am to buy a variety. Unfortunately there were few donut selections available. We had hoped to try chocolate. Instead we ordered glazed, their type of maple bar and jelly filled. We found the donuts very small and although fresh the taste lacked flavor. Although sugary the fillings tasted like a tubed jell and not a fruit preserve. The city has only 2 donuts shops in town. Hopefully Reds will...
