For starters you have to use a kiosk to order. The two kiosks that we tried were very slow responding. Then you get a QR code for your drink and you have 10 seconds to start filling your cup. You can use the QR code to get refills, but it is such a pain. The young lady behind the drink machine watches you scan, then shouts " You've got 10 seconds".There is no atmosphere here and absolutely no personality. It may as well have been all run by faceless robots. I saw no one smile, employees or customers. It was a sad experience. We would have gone to Chick filet except they were very busy and looked crowded.It was a good thing we both ordered double bacon cheese burgers or we would have left hungry and we are not big eaters. A double at Hardee's and I'm stuffed.

In order to fill your cup up, you have to scan a QR code that gives you access to the fountain drinks for 10 seconds.With several people in line trying to fill cups, it takes forever just to get a drink.

Food is decent shakes are high but they're high everywhere. Not going to lie the drive thru is rather slow but I do believe they cook all burgers to order so that's why. Which many ppl would prefer.

Terrible they want a tip when you have to do everything else and you have to scan your drink to get it and you only get one refill

I used to really like their food but the last time i dined in there was an employee who smelled AWFUL. like it made me gag and stunk up the entire dining area. AND my food wasn’t as good as usual. The buns on the burger were freezing cold and so stale it literally had cracks in the bun and crumbled when i went to eat it. made me nauseous.

The smash burgers are so fresh and delicious! The cheese fries keep me coming back. This Kit Kat Shake my 11 year old got today for his birthday, with extra cherries, was definitely birthday worthy.The self-order kiosk is easy to use, but I would prefer a worker take my order. The workers were friendly but it took a while after our food was provided for us to get our shakes. We were halfway through our meal before we had drinks. There was very little interaction with any “service”.

Food tasted like it was microwaved and fries were undercooked, all self serve kiosk and then ask for a tip even though nobody did anything for you to top it off they have a stupid QR code reader you have to scan for your drinks. I used to really love steak and shake but it’s gone absolutely downhill over the past 6 years. Luckily in 2020 a similar restaurant opened down the street that serves the exact same food but better

I had no problem with the food. It was the atmosphere and service I had issues. One, ordering from the kiosk. Whatever happened to good customer service in the food industry? Not to mention the "asking for a tip" at the end of ordering. You want a tip, take my order, bring me my food and drink, refill my drink, and have a conversation with me or two, then we will talk about a tip. Two, scan the QR code to get a drink in 30 sec and you get one refill when you scan again. Is this what our world has came to? Why can't it be simple like before? Not dining in ever again!!!!!!
