The Brick Reviews
This ice cream is so GOOOOOOD! A local recommended we stop here while visiting the area and it did not disappoint! I had a very generous scoop of Churrochata (🤩 this was even better than I'd hoped for) and a scoop of an extra chocolatey chocolate (I can't remember the name, but it was a chocolate lovers dream). Two scoops ended up being A LOT for me, I couldn't even finish! Often ice cream will make me feel a little blah, especially if I eat a large portion but this ice cream...read full review
I had a bowl of their small ice cream. Very large portions and delicious ice cream. Fast, friendly service. Would definitely go back if in the area again.
I went in there with my Service Dog and was treated so terribly by the manager, even after notifying that my dog was a service dog. As soon as I said he was a service animal she said he still wasn’t allowed in and continued to go on and on about health codes and if he stayed he had to “stay in the corner”, apparently that’s what she was told to say. The Brick is a cozy spot to stop after a hike, especially in the beautiful Red River Gorge area. They offer a variety of sweet treats, including pastries, ice cream, and fresh-baked bread. The ice cream flavors are delicious, with options like black cherry and vegan chocolate, and the vanilla vegan ice cream in a waffle cone was highly enjoyed. The shop also features beautiful locally-made pottery, which visitors can browse while enjoying their treats. The coffee is a highlight, with many praising the iced latte for its great taste. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy, making it a perfect place to relax and refuel. Visitors often find the staff friendly and attentive, though one noted that the shop can get very busy and sometimes has only one employee working, who does an excellent job despite the rush. The shop also has a cat that frequently visits, adding to its charm. The menu includes vegan options, though some customers wished for more choices. Overall, The Brick is a delightful destination for a tasty treat and a relaxing break in the scenic area.
