I think I'm done with this place! Ate there last night (November 2, 2025). Place was pretty much dead. They sat us in the back next to a bunch of loud, college-aged, kids. Why? When most of the restaurant was empty would they do that? The salsa was the most watery salsa I've EVER had! Terrible! We ordered the white cheese queso and it had the consistency of milk! Also terrible! Service was lacking (I got one refill and it was when I was almost done eating). Will NOT be going back!

I rarely leave bad reviews but this one I won't let it pass. . . Casa apresurate should be the name. Never I have gone to a restaurant and felt so rushed, we got there around 730pm when they close at 10pm and the place was fairly empty. Got our order taken and got our food brought got asked once if everything was okay after that we started getting rushed to be done, never got refills offered or brought, no water as soon stopped to talk for a min they waitress already was hounding us to see if we wanted boxes to go, ultimately we say yes because we felt really pressured to go, granted only like 35 mins had passed and she already brought the ticket so we could pay. And I won't even go into mediocre food, got a burrito grande and the chimichanga the burrito was the same size of the chimichanga so what was grande about it? It had to one half of scoop of meat at best... the chicken in the chimichanga was too dry and stringy.

Great food, friendly staff and a very nice restaurant. Bathrooms very clean which is a major indication to me that they care. Highly recommend!! Staff very attentive to ensuring drinks are refilled and needs attended to.

Been living in Richmond for over 6 months. Upset that I never came here sooner. The barbacoa tacos with consume I got were the best tacos I’ve ever had in my life. And the waitress and hostess were very patient with me and my family. We switched from the patio and back inside. They were both very kind.

We normally love this place. But for some reason my husbands card was hit last night but we haven't been there in over a week.. I don't think we will be going back..

We went to dinner yesterday, four of us. At first, no one came to take our order until someone came over and waited on us. Then, they took our food order. All the orders came with guacamole, but it was very bad and black, looking days old and not fresh. The server who served us delivered the food and never checked back to see if we needed anything, not even our drinks, refills, or anything. A total disappointment. 😞

I dined here over the weekend for the first time and was charged a tip to my debit card that I DID NOT APPROVE! I would not trust using any type of card at this place. The employees are obviously doing some dishonest stuff!

Delicious food at a very reasonable price! Our server was so sweet and accommodating to whatever we needed and our dinner came quickly. I don't normally write reviews but felt this place deserved a 5 star.

First time visit based on Google reviews Late evening shared meal with hubby. Burritos. Ample serving BUT. only a small sprinkle of tomato tidbits and a Tablespoon of guacamole Cheese sauce was skimpy, hardly visible and charged $5!for a small bowl. CHips were warm :) and salsa was okay. Nicely decorated but probably would not return.

No matter how I'm feeling, happy or sad the Burrito Sarape always has my back. Fun environment, friendly wait staff, when it's not slam packed it's a quick easy out table with no in-between. I've taken dates here, done birthdays here, chain-smoked on the patio as needed.
