Went to la Cocinta today and the food was great!! Only bad thing was the music was to loud and annoying we couldn’t even hear to talk to each other sitting across the table from each other!!!
The food was awesome, very flavorful and fresh. The guacamole was made fresh to order as well. Service was outstanding and super friendly/inviting. Pacheco Guzman was our server and is the main one there he gave outstanding service.
Very cozy, accessible, affordable little restaurant. Waiter was a super impressionable young man who we had a blast conversing with. He helped me find a menu item I wanted off an image. Super nice little restaurant

La Cocinita is a cozy, accessible, and affordable little restaurant. The food is awesome, very flavorful, and fresh. The guacamole is made fresh to order. The spicy burrito is very good, with flavor and not crazy spicy, and it is enormous. The quesadilla is super stuffed with fillings. The fish tacos are seasoned perfectly, and the barria tacos and chicken quesadilla are cooked to perfection. Service is outstanding, super friendly, inviting, excellent, accommodating, and attentive, with great hospitality. The restaurant is family friendly and budget friendly. It is a fabulous restaurant and the best Mexican restaurant in Richmond. One downside is that the music was too loud and annoying.
