La Fonda Yummilicious Taqueria

The atmosphere here is amazing. And, the food! It’s all from scratch, made to order, and never frozen. We got to speak with the owner, and she and her family are awesome. La Fonda is definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area! I HIGHLY recommend the Yummilicious Special—best shrimp I’ve ever had. Great food and great people. La Fonda had it all.

Indoor and outdoor seating available (weather permitting). Friendly service. I ordered the ceviche tostadas. They come with some homemade spicy picked onions. If you don't like spice, don't eat them as they're spicy but delicious. The tostadas were wonderful. My husband ordered the chorizo and shrimp burrito, and it was good.

This is a new favorite restaurant. The food and selection is some of the best we have ever had. We don’t live nearby but drive through sometimes. We had been looking for a nice place to stop during our long drive. Not only does this place deliver on the best food, it was also a great deal for my money. The food is prepared with the highest quality ingredients and special consideration for those with food allergies. Everyone I encountered was so nice and considerate. It is an all around gem and I will stopping every chance I get. One thing to note is that it is a little tucked away from the previous location but worth it.

Wonderful spot! They were super friendly, great with food recommendations, and super flexible with changing out specific ingredients, or omitting them from a dish if need be. The Elotes here are seriously the best I’ve ever had!

Even when the boss is not there they take great care of you. The restaurant is amazing clean. Best chicken enchiladas I have ever had. Fourth time there is two months. We drive over an hour to get there.
