“This gem nestled in the Eli part of Russell County (KY) is a diamond in the rough. We were traveling thru the area and decided to give this place a try. We started off one their house salad, which consisted of traditional lettuce, chess, tomatoes and cucumbers. I tried the boneless wings, they were ok, but did not really stand out, but keep in mind I have tried wings everywhere, these I would described as being run of the mill, not bad. I had the Double Springs Burger, with cheese and bacon in addition to the standard toppings, My wife had the Patty Melt, which included grilled onions on a butted Texas Toast. Both burgers were grilled just right, not burnt or dry. The side of a Loaded Bake potato was hot and creamy, it is served with both cheese and bacon. The pies are out of this world delicious, the peanut butter and the butterscotch are the best two. This family own place is one of the best locations in Russell Co, for food, community and conversations. Great People, Great food. They make you feel like family and all the staff are very friendly. The good is good and reasonable priced.“
