Let me start first by saying, I never leave reviews unless I’m either impressed by good customer service or the food is just really that good. Tonight, I experienced both.
Full slab of pork ribs, potato salad, green beans, and sweet tea. I haven’t had ribs that good in a very long time. Only one other spot takes #1 on the list and that’s The Scioto Ribber in southern OH (IYKYK), but I think it’s a tie at this point.

We just moved here from Texas so of course had to try Ken-Tex! Everything we ate we said “OMG that’s the best I’ve ever ate!” Literally EVERY item! Ribs, sliced Brisket, baked beans, green beans, potato salad, French fries, Apple cobbler, pecan pie!! Everything was Incredible and people that took our order were friendly and patient with us being first timers!!👏👏👏
The best brisket sandwich I’ve ever had!!! Had to buy the rest to bring home!!! Thank you so much for making my vacation….. yes after about 6 days on the road I finally found a bbq shop (non commercial) so I had to stop and you definitely did not disappoint, from the brisket sandwiches and the pulled chicken everything was 5 ⭐️. I hope we get a chance to come back soon. If not I’m driving down 7 hrs to get more goodies.
