“Tropical Smoothie Café in Shepherdsville is one of those places that just puts you in a better mood! 🌴🥤 I’ve tried several different smoothies and drinks here, including the pineapple smoothie, and they’ve all been solid. Everything is refreshing, flavorful, and perfect when you’re looking for something a little lighter but still satisfying.

The staff have always been friendly, the service is usually quick, and the whole place has that fun tropical vibe that makes you feel like you should be sitting on a beach somewhere instead of running errands in Shepherdsville. 😂🌺

“its 2025, with the price of gas & inflation it says a lot that I drive over an hour at least once a week to visit this location. Melanie & the girls are all kind & friendly & really care about everyone who walks in the door! Everything on the menu is delicious & cant go wront with any choice you make, but I love coming in for a Donut & Gusher tea for a pick-me up! Stop in for good conversation, a friendly face or a great start to your day!“

“So, I would give this place 10 Stars if I could! I started going here religiously about a month or so ago and it's almost become a ritual on Tuesday evenings for me to stop and get something there after the gym. I almost always get a smoothie or one of their quesadillas, any food I've gotten from there has been so good. I forgot what the name of the smoothie is, but I believe it's strawberry, banana, and dark chocolate. No matter how much I want to try something else, that's the one I always go to! Not only are the smoothies great, but the staff make me want to keep coming back. They always greet me with a smile and I know every time I walk in there I'm going to have an extremely friendly experience. I'm so glad they're on Dixie and I will definitely continue to be a repeat customer!“

“I like the place but today my wife and I stopped in and my wife ordered a water to drink with her food and the girl at the register tells my wife they're not allowed to give regular water that she'll have to get a bottle wife and wife says ok. I then ordered a bottle too and there were no more in the refrigerator so the same that said we're not allowed give you water then offered to give me ice to use for the warm bottle of water. Hmmm.“

“Always friendly, but sometimes the same drinks taste different depending on who's making what, I suppose. I get the Cinnamon Spice Tea, or House Blend quite a bit, and even with the same ingredients each time, sometimes it's nowhere near the same. And the scoops vs 1x-4x sweet can be ultra confusing. Overall, I still enjoy the new combinations!
Update - Aug 2026 - still friendly! Not found a stand I haven't liked. Some of them make the drinks a little different sometimes, though. Trying new drinks and combos is great, though!“
