Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Shepherdsville is a place that puts you in a better mood. The restaurant has a fun tropical vibe that makes you feel like you should be sitting on a beach. The staff are friendly, polite, helpful, pleasant, wonderful, kind, and extremely nice. One staff member went out of his way to chat with a son about baseball, which warmed a heart and made the son's night. The service is usually quick, and management even stayed open so that customers could get a smoothie just after they closed up.
The smoothies are fresh fruit smoothies that are refreshing, flavorful, delicious, solid, and addictive. The pineapple smoothie and the Sunrise/Sunset Smoothie are mentioned. The food is SO GOOD and a healthier option when pressed for time or needing a quick light bite. The All American Breakfast wrap had scrambled eggs, Bacon and Cheese. It was ALL SO GOOD and just enough to hold until supper time. The place is very clean and pleasant. It is a bit expensive, but worth it to know you are eating healthier. There is always something good to choose from, and you really can't go wrong with a cold Tropical Smoothie on a hot day.
