“We LOVE El Mezcal Mexican Grill - Restaurante & Taqueria! It is our families favorite place to eat in Somerset. Jesus & his staff do a phenomenal job. They are super friendly, the food is always amazing, it's affordable and they're always happy to see customers! The authentic tacos are our favorite but the shrimp fajitas are a close second. The margaritas are on point! There are tons of mexican options in Somerset that are good, but this family owned gem is our spot. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

After we ate some our whole family agreed this is the best cake! It was so incredible! I asked her to put pineapples in it and the dried pineapples on the top were perfect! I can’t brag enough on this bakery. You will not be disappointed!”

“The food was awesome, but the service even better. We had never been to a Slim Chickens before but are getting one in our town (opening Monday in London, KY). We were in Somerset and decided to give it a try to see if we should be happy to be getting one or nah. We went into the restaurant as you do all new places; a bit confused as to what is offered, what you should order, even the flavors of things. To my delight, the young lady behind the counter (named Jessi S. ) immediately made us feel comfortable- not rushed at all- while admittedly my husband and I were taking a bit. In fact, she very happily explained the menu, the flavors of the sauces, the different options and even her personal thoughts about the food (basically ALL of it was amazing she said with complete sincerity that was seen in her face, but she shared a few personal favorites as well). We thoroughly enjoyed each bite of our tenders and wings, and might I add that your ranch is ah-mazing! I believe I could nearly wash everything down with it! Back to the service, I made eye contact near the end of our meal with Jessi and she asked what we thought, once again expressing true interest our opinions. I don't know about the rest of your staff, as this was our first visit and we only interacted with Jessi, but she is a Jewel! very good for your business. Wow. We left both feeling very pleasantly surprised and thoroughly convinced that we will be loyal customers of the Slim Chickens we are receiving here in London, after just one visit at your Somerset store.”

“The restaurant and the food has always been good, but today we had a bad experience with the waitress. We were just asking her a question and she got very rude with us over the menu, I said she should of let us know and she really got rude then, the thing about it is we have always liked the place and have always been polite to her other times we have been there, now It kind of makes me not want to go back, but i guess it really don't matter if we do or not.”

“El Taxco has very pretty and colorful decoration + designs! I really enjoyed the waitress. She was kind and the food came out fast. The only complaint I have is that the pricing for 2 people was around $36. Also the queso cheese was very runny. It was almost a water consistency.

Kid-friendliness: There is lots of colorful tables with animals and different designs on them. Many colorful chairs as well. They also have lots of different machines for fake tattoos, gum, and toys that children can buy with a quarter

“Casa grande is having their 28th anniversary today 6/27/24 so they are having music outside the patio...this place has been a staple of the community for years and it's only fitting that they celebrate.... I've been coming here for years and always have been top notch, don't know where all this new negative comments are coming from...”

“I love this place. Amanda is the most awesome person you can meet. You can talk to her about anything. She has alot of loyal customers. The atmosphere is very chill. All the customers are friendly, mostly locals. We pay games on the television on Mondays. You can come in for snacks if you don't drink, socialize, and play games.”

“We ordered the Torre De Mariscos appetizer and it was so amazing. So much flavor. Definitely something I wouldn’t expect to find in Somerset. For our main meal we ordered Fajitas Mar Y Tierra. First of all we weren’t sure about how we were going to be able to eat anymore after the amazing appetizer but then this plate came out with the best flavored fajitas that I have ever had. We couldn’t stop eating them. We will be back for sure!!”

The first day of our getaway we came here due to being close to our hotel. The second day we came back due to the amazing food and service! I wish we had one closer to our home in Hartford, KY. The first day we had 5 servers and a manager checking on us. The second day we had our waiter, the off duty bartender, and the manager. I can not praise this staff enough and look forward to our next trip!”

“Make sure you slice your deep-dish pizzas. Mine wasn't sliced. No biggie! I know you just opened. Also on the self-serve portal, make a sign that says the metal is hot. All in all, I am glad you are opened. It saves me a ton of time and the pizza is tasty!”

“This place is genius! Mexican and Japanese food all under one roof. Very generous portions. Great after a long day at the lake. The service was spectacular and food was served very quickly.
It’s a special place to be able to order tacos with your fried rice!!”

“Nice establishment, drinks are well priced, the food is good, and all bar equipment and kitchen equipment looked well kept and clean. Order a drink called "Trash Can" and they were good but the mixing consistency was different with each one. The music is a little too loud and they need more pool tables and some dart boards maybe. The only other problem I noticed was the DJ would cut and fade into another song halfway through which is annoying to me, but he played good songs.

Kid-friendliness: The bowling alley attached is great for kids with quite a few arcade games.

Parking: If the bar and bowling alley attached were both very busy parking would be unavailable.

“My wife and I love Culver's! We have been to many Culver's locations throughout this country. Their food and products are delicious and extraordinary. We either dine in or sit outside and this restaurants chains atmosphere is well lit, kept up, comfortable and enjoyable. The entire staff at each location is very nice, cordial, helpful and well versed.”
