Our server was absolutely horrible. I never leave reviews but she deserves the worst. She had absolutely no personality and acted like us being there was ruining her whole day. I am a server myself and am appalled by her behavior. We have never had bad service here but she made our experience horrible. The lady up front was amazing and helped take our order when our server wouldnt. Food was great as always.

I haven’t been there in years and was honestly scared to go because everyone said they’re nasty but they literally aren’t. The review about fruit flies I think may have been a lie because there were none. I’m upset that I listened to the reviews for so long i genuinely think people just lied about them because everything was great. The food was great per usual. Tables were clean. Service was friendly and great. And the bathrooms were clean too.

When I ordered I ordered steak and they brought me chicken and they got mad, the fact is when she asked our order I told them steak and she asked how I wanted it cooked. And our salad we had to keep asking for even after we ordered it

After boycotting Yamato for the past 3 years… we decided to take our friends there for Mother’s Day dinner, and give Yamato another chance. We did not leave disappointed! The menu has changed, and there are plenty of dishes to choose from! The food was spectacular! One friend had never eaten Japanese food, and she was Amazed! The service was fine, and we all left full and satisfied!

The most excellent Japanese steakhouse around. Large & tasty portions. If you've not tried em, you're missing out

We were a group of 7 and enjoyed the privacy in a back dining room. Our server was so patient, and very good to us! The food was delicious and everyone had a great time!

I had the teriyaki meat with rice. The rice was ok. The Teriyaki Meat was terrible. The thin slices of meat were so tough that I had a hard time chewing it, indicating that it was either a cheap cut of meat or overcooked or both. I could only eat about half of my lunch. When I paid and asked how the meal was I told her that the meat was VERY tough and I could not eat it. Only thing she said was Sorry.

It was my first and last time eating there. Other dishes might be better but do not order what I ordered.
