I haven’t been there in years and was honestly scared to go because everyone said they’re nasty but they literally aren’t. The review about fruit flies I think may have been a lie because there were none. I’m upset that I listened to the reviews for so long i genuinely think people just lied about them because everything was great. The food was great per usual. Tables were clean. Service was friendly and great. And the bathrooms were clean...
After boycotting Yamato for the past 3 years… we decided to take our friends there for Mother’s Day dinner, and give Yamato another chance. We did not leave disappointed! The menu has changed, and there are plenty of dishes to choose from! The food was spectacular! One friend had never eaten Japanese food, and she was Amazed! The service was fine, and we all left full and satisfied!
Should be featured on an episode of “kitchen nightmares” . A Japanese person would be appalled. Not authentic . You can tell the owner must not care. The restaurant is kind of hoarded up. Things that should be in storage in the back of house are cluttering the front of house. Half ripped printed signs everywhere. I think if they step up their game they’ll do great, if not they’ll go out of business sooner or later.
