“Came to Saints last night for a football game. As usual, they are a busy spot for game time and we had to wait for a seat. No problem- we grabbed a drink at the bar and went outside where we still had game visibility. Upon returning inside, we found a table. The server in our corner bounced around serving every single table around us as we sat for 30+ mins waiting. No "I'll be right with you", nothing. I made eye contact with her several times and she continued to avoid us. At one point, she even walked by and put her hand flat up beside her cheek almost to "block" her view of us as she walked by. Watching her serve other tables.. you could feel her attitude- rolling her eyes at people, huffing and puffing as she walked around. Busy, I get it. But don't be a server at a very busy restaurant if you aren't capable of still making it a positive experience for the customers. There was only two of us- not difficult. I finally got up and stood at the bar waiting for her to come out of the kitchen. After chasing her down, I asked if she was the server for our table. She just stared at me. So I said "No? Ok..." and just walked back with intentions of finding another server. She followed me to the table..pulled out her ordering tablet and stared at us. We politely (and awkwardly) ordered our entire meal and more drinks because we weren't sure if she would ever return. After we ordered, she literally just walked away. Not one word came out of her mouth the entire time. At this point, I asked another server to send a manager over. Jamie came by and completely changed the tune. She showed concern, listened, and sincerely apologized. Only thanks to Jamie, the remainder of our visit was wonderful. She took care of us from all angles- although she shouldn't have to do take one of her servers tables when she is busy managing her own tasks. Food was excellent and we will be returning but I can't say I'd be happy if I saw the same server in our section. It was extremely unpleasant until Jamie took ever. Thank you Jamie!“
“It doesn’t get better than osheas! You should visit this fine establishment any day that ends with “Y”. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner, milkshakes, or drinks this is the place to go. Exceptional service from the whole staff all the time, every time! Kevin, Ryan, Lance and all the other personable staff there make every visit special. The foods delicious and the menu options are great!“
“Great neighborhood bar with pretty good food and a nice patio when the weather cooperates. The bartenders are nice and served us promptly. We grabbed a couple beers - they have a decent local selection on tab and they're all $6.50. We took a look at the menu and decided to try the brusell sprout special, fries, and the spicy chicken wrap. The brusell sprouts were our favorite; they were paired with a sweet Thai chili sauce. Would recommend if you're looking for a place to grab a drink and hang out.“
“Went there on a Saturday by myself .. it was a good working class crowd .. nice clean place to have a cocktail. The Bar itself was Grand .. Beautiful Wood !.. I told her I wanted a colorful dirty Martini..Exactly what got !!!it was Marvelous Dear !!Ill Great upscale Experience in Highview ! definitely b Back!..“
“A speakeasy dive bar with some of the best beers in the world. Sergio is a great host and tons of beer knowledge that he loves to share with others. It's a definite "must go" if you appreciate good beer. If you're the Bud Light kind of person, this is not your place. If you want to try a beers from around the world, this is your place.“
“A bar that made me instantly nostalgic for my old haunts from back in my 30's.I had a super good time on the back patio area, complete with a stage for shows, and they had a food truck( which was also excellent )Going back soon. Will take photos.“
“I got the white lasagna and let me tell you it was God awful horrible. I asked for Italian sausage thinking it was going to be Big and chunky Italian sausage and it was crumbled up Italian sausage. I should have just gotten the regular lasagna. I do not recommend this dish.“
“Absolutely amazing place the service was awesome ? we were in town for louder than life music festival and need a place to get some good food and a cold drink late at night the food is Absolutely fire ? we had half the menu and everything was very good I highly recommend this place if I lived closer this would be our local hang out love this place they have volleyball ? also indoor and outdoor“
“Wonderful spot. I didn't even realize it was the old Diamond's. Great food at really good prices. Lot's of pool tables and a new Golden Tee machine. Bigger inside than it looks. Very clean and had excellent service. Really neat to see the local Ole Miss Hotty Toddy group there for the bowl game :)“
“Pretty cool place, with a good atmosphere. We went on a Saturday and they had good cheap drinks and a performance by a guy covering some songs. The bartender on staff was cool! They have pool tables and Pac-Man. It's pretty cold in there. Also they only have one women's bathroom so there was a wait to use it most of the night.“
“We got a cold pizza. Totally understand, things happen. The staff and manager were incredibly friendly and made it right so fast and painlessly. We love their pizza and location and will continue to dine here. Thanks for making a minor negative event a positive experience!“
“This is a place you want to go where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came! Cheers! That's the best explanation I can give this place! Karaoke for all ages, and all ages are welcome. They have a drink menu, a food menu, a kids menu as well. I love their food! Salah (the owner) really knows what he's doing in the kitchen as he prepares your food for you. And he'll bring it to you when he's finished! They are super nice and friendly.“
“Flanagan’s has some competition nearby, but is the best Irish pub town. The food is always good. The servers are always friendly (ask for Lex and if she’s available, you’ll get the best service you’ve had in a while). And there’s usually something interesting going on somewhere in their sprawling establishment.“
“If it's summer you absolutely should be here sitting outside. But it also has to be noted their take out team are superstars. Incredibly kind staff over the phone & you can order far ahead of time! The margarita pizza is truly mouth watering. I truly love it.“
“I can not recommend The Corner Pizza and Pub more. At the drop of a dime they hosted my family after we concluded her funeral services as our other plans fell through. The food was phenomenal, hot, and fresh! The service was beyond compare. Our cups were never empty, and we were very well taken care of. The experience of the service we were given was one of the things my grandmother appreciated the most. Thank you and 5 stars really is not comparable to what I owe the service. 100/5 recommend“
“Great place to hang out, and enjoy cheap drinks.I hang out in the building without the karaoke because I'm not a fan. But the next door building has a stage with karaoke pretty much every night.Parking: Really small tight parking lot, with Highlands street parking in front and around the place.Kid-friendliness: It's a bar, don't bring kidsWheelchair accessibility: It's got a ramp, it's pretty steep though.“
“Have been here many times. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the last time we were there everything was WAY over seasoned. Generally everything is perfect, good food and drinks. I'd still recommend this place to anyone and I'll still be a return customer.“
“If you want to see a Louisville game on a big screen, check this place out. Spread across six 55" TV's, making a slightly stretched 150” image, there's no way you're missing any action! Decent bar food, friendly service and a pool table in the back. Fun to be had for sure.“
“I bike ride through the Neighborhood at least a couple times a year. I have strong sentimental ties to the Highlands & particularly the Deer Park area, I usually make it a point to stop in for lunch. Has been a favorite of mine for more years than I will admit to.“
“Ask 'Becca to do her Clark Kent and get the manager. Watch the games on the TV's that circle the room. Eat amazing beer-battered onion rings and incredibly crispy and soft spicy garlic wings. Yes. Do all that, and you will come back to do it again!“
“This awesome place has lots of good craft beers food was phenomenal, service was equally as good can’t say anything bad at all it wasn’t expensive either . I very rarely give a place a 3 fives but this place earned every one definitely must try establishment I will be back again and again…..“
“Nice little tavern in a beautiful area.. the patrons seem really nice and drinks are pretty reasonable. I haven't had the food yet but I hear great things about the fish sandwich is great so I'll try that soon. The bartenders were sweet gals and they run Keno tickets at the bar which is a HUGE PLUS. The tavern is a little too small for large sporting events so you need to arrive as early as possible ??“
“It was so dark in here I could hardly read the menu. Our service was good. At first they said we'd have to order at the bar but then the server came to our table. They also recently changed menus and didn't have the new ones in print which was a little difficult. The food however was excellent if you like fried bar food. The fried fish was good and the appetizers were delicious as well. It's definitely a hole in the wall but a good find. I would say it's best without your kids. There were some over imbibed patrons cursing next to us. The restaurant cannot help that but I would come back sans kiddos.“
“Omg!!!! Omg!!!! Friend invited me to celebrate my late birthday dinner!!! The absolute most charming little spot in all of Louisville! I seriously believe this is my new favorite restaurant!!! Spoke with Tiffany the most vivacious and knowledgeable General Manager ever!!!! She was also super sweet and o so very helpful!!! She gave us lots of information about the specials and weekly events!!! Our server Kayte was AMAZING!! She was prompt, sweet, and eager to answer all our questions! the atmosphere was so elegant, classy, yet laid back at the same time. Like I literally wore jeans and still raised my pinky while drinking my wine!!! Ha ha!!! The food was 5 star quality!!! Unique and delicious!! If you have not tried this place you must!! I’ll be back Tuesday for lunch!!!“
“Stopped by after walking across the big 4 bridge. Highly recommend!! The cheese sticks appetizers were the best part ? we had the veggie pizza and the hot honey pepperoni and both were delicious. The kids meal pizza: perfect for my picky eaters — it was very light on the sauce. Too bad we don’t have one of these in Georgia!Kid-friendliness: Chairs good for kids; highchairs available; food for kids is a good amount and perfect for picky eaters (great if you have kids who love carbs ?)“
“What a great "what you see is what you get" kind of place. Great deals on draft beer, nice selection of canned options. Generous portions of food. Outdoor seating is nice. Another server would be nice, but the one(s) working and working, so I can't ask for more than that.“
“It's exactly what you would expect from a chain sports restaurant. Nothing will blow you away, but also nothing will disappoint. In my experience, the staff here are excellent. They are often overwhelmed due to understaffing, but they do their absolute best to make sure everyone is taken care of.Parking: If there is a UofL baseball or football game going on, you are going to struggle to find parking. Every other time it is very easy to find a spot.“
“I had the chicken dinner, with potatoes, dressing, and roasted carrots. It was a wonderful dinner. Our server was helpful and personable. We took some friends with us that had never been there. He had corned beef and cabbage, and it, too, was delish! They want to go back. Good food, good service.“
