“An gem of a restaurant in the middle of metropolitan downtown Stanford. Our server was fantastic. Warm, welcoming, and attentive. The food was great. It's rare to be asked how you want your patty melt cooked, but you'll get it exactly how you want here. Excellent cookies, too. And try one of the flavored teas in place of regular iced tea! Not in the neighborhood often, but absolutely will return. Again and again.“

“Salt Risen Bread & Donuts! Just walking in the door was wonderful. The aromas of freshly made bread, doughnuts, pastries & pies lifted my mood. I came for the salt risen bread as it is hard to find. The folks there were friendly & knowledgeable. They even suggested Melton’s Deli for a good lunch spot. I look forward to stopping in again soon.“

“Had their fried corn meal fish last night and it was horrible.. I guess I'm not used to a hard and crunchy coating. 8 years ago, there fish(swai) was wonderful. And since Covid, it has not been good. I will go back if I ever learn that they have a different cook. I have had better fish at the Hill Of Beans in Danville.“

“We celebrated my husband’s birthday and this place did the catering! It was amazing! We had wings, potato wedges, pretzel bites, and a nacho bar! The staff was amazing and had our order delivered and set up right on time!“

“Not bad at all. Though the chicken was over salted and a tad over cooked it was delicious nonetheless. The staff was friendly and accommodating despite our large group. We did have to wait 20 minutes for seating around 2:30 tho. The bathrooms were a little messy but nothing too bad. Food came out quickly after ordering.“
