My wife and I try to visit this place as much as we can. It worth the 40 minute drive to us and the employees and owner are very friendly. Also, the atmosphere is fantastic.
Stayed upstairs, and being able to get coffee in the morning, have a nice conversation, and peruse the decor was quite nice.
I spent my Valentine’s date this year trying for the first time this place and do not disappointed! I loved the atmosphere! I ordered a white chocolate mocha with an Italian sandwich, both was delicious and I’ll be back soon!
The food is fresh and everyone is very nice. Good bakery options as well.
Absolutely adorable little shop and cafe! Such a cute location right on Main St. We had an absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. The owners and staff were so kind and generous. Can't wait to go back!
A great little place to get a substantial lunch and warm, friendly folks. Good service and nice boutique items to take home or give as gifts...with a surprise bonus of Airbnb options. A very good place to bring a blessing.

I really, really want to like this place, but we came in for breakfast, no one before us, ordered, paid and sat down. Our food arrived a full 35 minutes later with “scrambled eggs” that were cubed, cold pancakes, and no hash browns. Server said the hash browns would be right out. Husband ate the “scrambled eggs” cold but asked them to nuke the pancakes. Five minutes later, she brought the pancakes back and the hash browns which appeared to either be half eaten or an incredibly small serving size to begin with (see picture, that’s a tiny plate they’re on). On the plus side, my croissant sandwich was good and the decor is quaint.

My family and I frequently visit Traveler’s Lantern Market & Cafe. The food is always delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner. We recently used their facilities for a small intimate wedding. The owners are very friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommend for intimate smaller dinner parties and food anytime!! Photos are from the wedding rental while the review pertains to a regular visit ?

I’ve eaten at The Traveler’s Lantern and used its facilities for years. It’s my favorite restaurant.I held my wedding reception here. The facilities were BEAUTIFUL. Jason (the restaurant owner) even developed new recipes for my guests with kosher diets, which shows his willingness to take care of all his patrons.Recently, we housed a guest teacher at the Traveler’s Lantern. His suite was spacious and clean, furnished with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, and dining area. He was very impressed with the accommodations. In the future, I will always house our guest speakers at The Traveler’s Lantern. The next day, we rented the downstairs facilities and hosted all-day activities there, and the staff at the Traveler’s Lantern set up everything. Personally, my favorite part was the food: Jason baked a pasta that I couldn’t stop eating. Delicious.I’m sure both of these events were stressful for the employees working at the Traveler’s Lantern, but both experiences were amazing.Overall, Jason and his team have put pride and care into this restaurant. I couldn’t recommend it more.

EDIT: the owner wanted me to give more information because he didn't like this review. My additional comments: This is the 2nd time I have tried the food, and both times the ingredients were skimpy for the price. Compared to other small food establishments in Todd County this is the last place I would recomend. GREAT GIFT SHOP, but so-so on the food. If you want to pay $10 for a meager serving of lunch food, then def go. No idea why they cannot fill a sandwich with a full serving of items, but I'm not interested in returning.

Whenever I am out to visit my friend in Trenton from California, I make sure we go to the Traveler's Lantern for Breakfast and Lunch. Great food and the quiet and friendly atmospheres are just not found in California much anymore.
