The Carter house wasn't open but she saw us wandering the streets of Vanceburg and brought us to the roof top to enjoy great conversations, drinks, and local pub fare (the only place open in town that night). She made a relatively uneventful night into a very memorable one. We hope to come back sooner than planned and will contact Roxie to book a dinner in advance.“
