Wonderful food and atmosphere!!!!

Today was a huge disappointment. The menu is limited on food for lunch and average cooked at best. The older staff was busy and really not interested in our business, Our waitress had a sweet attitude, she is young. When I was here 3 months ago ( live out of tow) the food was superb and the bar staff friendly.

I came here Saturday evening as that's when my friend and I had reservations. I've never heard of this place if it weren't for the sweet deals I found it on. After we entered, we were greeted by the host and seated accordingly. We ordered Brussel sprout, kale and bacon flatbread - With mozzarella & feta cheese, drizzled with a balsamic reduction for appetizer, which was so delicious! I ordered the shrimp and grits- Crispy grit cakes topped with shrimp, sautéed onions, roasted red peppers and country ham on a bed of Cajun cream sauce My friend ordered five grain kale salad -chopped kale, brussels sprout, cabbage & carrot with red & white quinoa, barley, wild rice, wheat berries, dried cranberries & toasted sunflower seeds tossed in apple cider vinaigrette with added grilled chicken Both of our entries were so delicious and then I ordered the best ORGASMIC dessert I've ever had: bread pudding - Smothered in a rich, sweet bourbon sauce and that was the best piece of food I've ever had! I will definitely return here just to order the bread pudding, it was sooooooo good!!!! Overall the food was so good and the staff was very friendly, would highly recommend this place for dinner as that's what I came here for. Super great experience all around.

I was there tonight to DJ a party for a 60th Birthday Party. The staff was awesome. Very attentive and helpful. Very well mannered which you don't see very much anymore. The space was the covered patio in the back and even though the walls are 1/2 tent material they kept it nice and toasty with blowing propane heaters. The food was wonderful. From the mini Hot Browns to the homemade Beer Cheese, the chicken buffalo dip, and meatballs it was all on point! I look forward to coming back as a guest and getting to try more things of their menu. All this time this place was here and I'm getting on myself for not getting there sooner!

I previously wrote a review of only two stars for this place based on three bad experiences not only with food but also with service. So our power was out today and nothing was gonna be cooked and we did not feel like driving to Lexington or Frankfort. So with hesitation I agreed to try again. Well needless to say they have come a long way and the menu has grown up. I ordered the pork chop and ordered it cooked medium to medium well. It came out in between and it is perfect. The roasted Brussel sprouts were great and a big surprise from what I expected. The grapes, balsamic and walnuts roasted with them was a great contrast! My other half ordered the hot brown and said it was awesome as well. We both had the slaw and it was ok. The kids had chicken tenders and said they were good but the one with out buffalo sauce was spicy, taken with a grain of salt as black pepper is too spicy for him. But the dessert was on point! (Sorry forgot to take pics of them). The bourbon bread pudding excellent! Apple spice cake with salted caramel icing awesome! The pumpkin cheesecake bars also on point! The fourth was vanilla ice cream debated over weather or not it was house made! So we will go back and hope they stay on this track of great service and good menu! The service was great with a full dining room and 2 big groups with only two servers visible!

I give Addie's 4 stars for the food, but 3 stars for the service. It may be that they are a bit under staffed, but the wait staff seemed very hurried and distracted. There was no charm as you would expect from such a quaint restaurant. The food, however, was quite delicious. I highly recommend trying the pimento cheese sticks. I had the shrimp and grits, which had a kind of twist on it as the grits are fried into little cakes and the spice of the sauce lived up to the traditional flare of Louisiana style shrimp and grits, maybe not as spicy. My husband had the Italian stuffed shells, which was simple but flavorful. With a full bar and live music to boot, this place has a lot going for it, if they could just get up to full staff.

Our tour group had lunch here during the Bourbon Trail. I thought we were just getting a boxed lunch. Boy, was I wrong. This was a great lunch. The staff is very warm and welcoming. We even found that a couple in our group has a next door neighbor that is a competitor of mine. What a small world. The food here is great and so are the drinks. Look forward to going back and staying at the B&B.

Entertainment on the pavilion was nice. 21 tables, 7 empty, yet told by a rude hostess that we would have to wait 5 to 10 mins for a table. Told if we wanted a cocktail we wojld have to go inside and get it ourselves. Got a table after 15 mins. Hostess still rude. Server was nice, Food was average at best. Dont think we will be going back, the hostess obviously doesnt want us to.

My sister Becky Vaughn & sister-in-law Mary Hawkins and I shared a room with a queen size bed and a cot. The temperpedic mattress was amazing. The staff were very attentive and we ate dinner outside listening to the entertainment "Handcar Prophets" who were awesome. Loved seeing owners Bruce Parker & Linda Edelstein Parker who grew up in Henry County. Her brother "Ronnie" who now goes only by Ron cooked our breakfast and we had a great visit reminiscing. Loved that the i
