The Glitz at Irish Acres is consistently phenomenal! The ever changing menus are always brimming with exciting new combinations that are always delicious and pleasing to the eye! The kitchen staff are true artists, while the wait staff are always kind and accommodating. We always feel like we are having lunch among friends. Each trip to the Glitz is nothing short of magical.
Brought my 11 year old daughter for lunch bc she is an adventurous eater and we had the best time. She dressed up and really enjoyed checking out the gallery as well. The servers for so friendly and she got to try iced tea and had simple syrup as well as pick a flavor of hot tea. We both left stuffed and she wants to come back again!
Everything was wonderful at the Glitz today. I haven’t been for about 7 years but the experience never disappoints! I took a friend that had never been and she was amazed at the friendly staff and attention to detail. Owners Jane and Emily are amazing! Love you two!
I hadn’t been to the Glitz in a few years, but remembered it as being a great place. The food was very good, but the service was not . I had a small present in a drawstring bag for a friend (small enough I could have put it in my purse) and was told I wasn’t allowed to take it to the restaurant. It was taken from me upstairs and I had to get it in my way out . The hostess said it was too crowded in the dining area for a gift . The ladies in the shop were rude and so was our waitress . This will be my last trip to the Glitz.
I don’t usually post reviews, but today, we had the best experience at a place I’ve always wanted to go— The Glitz Restaurant at Irish Acres Gallery in Nonesuch, Kentucky! We didn’t have a baby carrier with us (not aren’t allowed in the antique gallery), so the restaraunt staff put us in a booth, and brought out a snuggle lounger for our 3-month old! Everyone was so accommodating and kind to us, even though we popped in without a reservation, and were probably a little underdressed. The food and atmosphere was nothing short of magical! Baby Nora loved all the twinkle lights and was enchanted by all the sweet staff who stopped to speak to her. 10/10, whole heartedly recommend!
I LOVE this place! They are closed throughout the winter and open in early April I believe. They grow their own herbs and vegetables. Their food is absolutely amazing and if you have any allergies you just specify that when you make your reservation and they will accommodate to you. My sisters and I take my mom every year and we have a girls day. It’s just so much fun. It’s a very “glitzy” place. ? There’s 3 levels….you enter the main doors to the main floor, the restaurant is downstairs and then they have TONS of rooms with antiques all throughout the whole building. We love looking around every time we go. It never gets old. We also try to go when they have a different menu so that we don’t get the same things. They only change their menu a couple of times and so far we’ve never gotten the same dish. Besides dessert of course. I love that you can dress up and feel glamorous for a couple of hours during the day. You definitely do not have to dress up, we just like to match the atmosphere. As you can see in the photos, it’s beautiful!!! I love the atmosphere, and the bathroom (it’s also very fancy). ?? If you feel like dressing up and hanging out with your lady friends for a nice afternoon, this is your place. They’re only open from 11pm to 1:30pm and I would definitely recommend that you make reservations. The people are so very sweet and always respond when they’re texted or emailed about something. Can’t wait to go back soon!
Side note: if you have small children you may want to find a sitter because this is not the place for them to run or roam freely. There’s extremely OLD and VERY expensive antiques here and in some areas there’s not much room to walk nor push a stroller if you had to. Just a little piece of advice there.
Dietary restrictions: My mother has a severe pepper allergy and they made sure that her food was cooked separately from everyone else’s and that it was special made just for her needs. They were very cautious about it and extremely kind!!

Main coarse, the Pork Tortilla was terrible. I expected something much better considering the cost for lunch!

I was completely blown away with how wonderful each aspect of this dining experience was! The service was on point, the meal is delicious and perfectly portioned, and the atmosphere is quaint and whimsical... You would never remember that you're in the middle of nowhere (Nonesuch) Kentucky. I highly recommend trying this place for a great meal, and transporting yourself to a fairytale.

We love visiting here
The atmosphere is lovely, the service was excellent, and the food was good. They start everyone off with a spiced drink (non-alcoholic) which was delicious. The rest of the food was good, too. Their selection I'd limited, but what they offered was good.

Perfect place for our anniversary. My wife's cooking is so good that I never need to go to a restaurant anymore but boy, was this place perfect for her. Which naturally means I loved it too.
We had an amazing lunch. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is breathtaking. The set menu changes every three weeks and reservations are recommended. You choose an appetizer, entree, and dessert. You receive an apple spice refresher as soon as you sit down, it is delicious. The service is attentive and you are welcomed from the moment you walk through the door. They also have beautiful antiques to look at and purchase as well. Don’t miss an opportunity to have lunch here if in the Versailles area. A little pricey but totally worth every penny. Perfect for a special occasion, a girl’s get together, or just to have a unique experience. You will not be disappointed.

Made the trip here for a girls day out and it was perfect. The atmosphere is whimsical and the waitstaff was so helpful and pleasant. The menu is limited because it is seasonal and fresh but it was delicious. I would not hesitate to visit again.
