The Glitz is the kind of delightful lunch experience you daydream about. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared, and their team goes above and beyond—especially when it comes to accommodating specific dietary needs. With advance notice, they handled both gluten and alpha-gal restrictions with incredible care, ensuring every guest still enjoyed a delicious and memorable meal. The staff, from hosts to waitresses, are genuinely warm, attentive, and accommodating, making the entire experience feel welcoming from start to finish. Service is truly top-notch. The dining space and shop are sparkling clean and beautifully decorated and maintained, adding to the charm. The food is not only delicious but presented so beautifully—it feels like a special occasion every time. Every visit has been consistently wonderful, and we always leave looking forward to the next one.

I took some out of town guests to the Glitz, a place I had visited before. The food was very disappointing...a little bowl of carrot soup, shepherds pie that had clearly been prepared way in advance, and ice cream over rock hard meringue. This, for over a whopping $35/plate. As well, we were seated by the noisy kitchen with lots of activity buzzing in and out, and a clear view of pots and pans, ect. The atmosphere, of course, is over the top, lost a star of the proximity to the kitchen. All in all, extremely disappointed in the price, the quality of the food, and the over-busy staff that made service....meh.

I have been to the Glitz in the past. Yesterday I noticed the price went up considerably. Also, I ordered the vegetarian entree and I was served the one with meat. I did not want to mention it to our server as she was so sweet and I didn’t want to wait for another entree so I picked out the meat as best I could .

The Glitz is an amazing restaurant, and I couldn’t recommend a visit more! My family and I have been going to The Glitz off and on for over four years now, and I can honestly say that the people there are some of the most wonderful people who create the most amazing food and care deeply about both what they create and the people who come to enjoy it. The food has been incredible every single time and, even with the prix fixe menu items changing every three weeks, over all these years and many visits we’ve never once been disappointed by a meal! Each and every meal and visit has felt genuinely special, many of which were so memorable I still find myself thinking and talking about them years later. But beyond the amazing food and experience, the people make it even more extraordinary. The family ownership (the sisters Jane and Emilie, and Emilie’s daughter Anna, all of whom you will see at The Glitz on every visit), the servers, hostesses, and all the other folks who work there are truly some of the loveliest and kindest people you will ever meet! One example was when we came in with my father, who has a big appetite, on one of our first visits. Emilie noticed him and brought out an extra entrée, wanting to make sure he left happy and well fed! It really shows the level of personal attention they give to every guest, and I have so many examples of these kindnesses, both big and small, from our earliest visits all the way through to now. We are lucky to have become regulars, and we have gotten more than a few other people hooked along the way! Great food, great people, a magical atmosphere, The Glitz is just all around a wonderful place. It is my favorite restaurant, filled with some of my favorite people, and I wholeheartedly recommend a visit!
