Wallace Station Deli and Bakery

I enjoyed my inside out hot brown sandwich and several baked desserts. Located 'Midway' between family and offering quiet outdoor space for visiting made for an ideal afternoon.

This place was shared with me by a coworker who had been in the past- and I have to say- I am thankful for the recs. The “brown burger” was exceptionally cooked and comes standard with ham and bacon in it. The bun is grilled and it is necessary in order to keep from falling apart with such a hefty burger. We also ordered the Cobb salad (Thales make their own smoked tomato ranch dressing which is great!) and fried pickles which were massage and hand battered individually. Very great vibes, with outdoor activities to keep kiddos moving like they want- and tonight they even had live music. Great atmosphere, exceptional food, beautiful location.

We know this place is a regular for many locals, but it was our first time. We arrived a few minutes before opening and there was already a line. So go early!

Employees were efficient and friendly. No matter what you order, you will get a generous portion. Everything is tasty and well prepared. Plenty of seating outside if it's pleasant weather.

Cheery atmosphere. It was fun being there! Lots of regulars and folks who knew each other. If weather is poor, seating is very limited inside.

Parking: Large gravel lot on side and rear. If it were a crowded day, I could see where the lot might get full.

Kid-friendliness: I saw lots of kids there. They have grilled cheese, tuna fish, soup and salad, and plenty of cookies.

Went here after the Bourbon Tour of Castle & Keys, my cousin told us about both the tour was awesome, The food was good at Wallace Station had a great sandwich the only complaint was they had on the board blackberry cobbler which it was no where close to the it was a piece of cake with blackberry sauce on it warmed up no asked for ice cream would of had to have bought a pint they said asked for whipped cream and they didn't carry it. A little pricy!!

I had the big brown burger, as it was featured by Guy Fieri. I didn't think it was anything special. It was a decent burger, however I've had better burgers elsewhere, including bars in the area for less money.

Just average. Sandwich was dry but chili was better.

Wallace Station is a great destination restaurant for upscale food in a casual atmosphere. Try the catfish dinner or the Turkey Club. In fact, we have been several times over the years with friends, and no one has ever been disappointed with their food.

The food is great, especially the inside out hot brown sandwich. But the outside area is filthy. We arrived at 11 am and the tables, chairs and floor outside were very dirty. We tried to clean a table with many napkins and water but it was obvious it hadn’t been cleaned for some time. Very disappointing especially compared to her other restaurants.
