What a fun drive thru the beautiful horse country to this bakery and sandwich shop in the middle of nowhere but it's a happening place. The weather was perfect to sit outside on the back porch and have a picnic lunch of yummy homemade sandwiches. The line was out the door but pretty fast service. Lots of history has happened along this route.
Country deli tucked between horse farms, super relaxed and full of locals. The bourbon BBQ burger hit hard — smoky, juicy, perfect after a long drive. You order at the counter, grab a seat outside, and watch horses in the distance. Simple, real, and totally Kentucky.
Really cool old building and history. Sandwiches were good and different. Lots of baked goods -cookies, pies and brownies- and candy from the southern US areas. Really busy because Keenland was running, so many bakery items were already devoured!
