The distillery is in such a beautiful spot! Winding country roads, horses watching over your visit. The tasting rooms and outdoor areas were lovely, comfortable, and friendly. Our cocktail making class with Tabitha was informative and relaxing, so enjoyed it!
Didn’t do the tour. By the time we got to Woodford we were all toured out unfortunately. We had a drink and checked out their gift shop. Some nice stuff…only thing I can say is it gets crowded on Saturdays. If you are going out for a tour or tasting, purchase ahead.
The drive to the distillery is beautiful and the facility is amazing!
The scenery around the distillery was breath taking! The tour was our least favorite of 8 distilleries we toured. We spent more time getting on and off the bus than touring. Tour guide was OK but not as good as our other tours. The system used to move the barrels on rails and using gravity was very interesting.

Woodford was already my go to Bourbon especially the Double Oak! We loved the food parings and learning how food enhances the flavors of the bourbons. We also LOVED the drinks that were offered at the bar inside the gift shop. I highly recommend the Chocolate Old Fashioned

Our time at Woodford was wonderful. Kathy was an exceptional guide and quite a nice lady. The tour was well done and interesting and takes you through some cool places. It’s nice to see every stage of the process and how they differ from other distilleries. The tasting is great and I have discovered that the Double Oaked might just be my new favorite.
Woodford Reserve does it right! The tour is beautiful and the bourbon is exceptional. If you are in the area this is a must do. Ask for Jeremy, he’s a great tour guide.
