“We went in Saturday without a reservation and lucked out with the last table available. I love the atmosphere. I appreciate the good wine choices and had a great glass of Malbec. Our entrees were excellent. We had pizza and the special of the night. Service was excellent and we will certainly be back!
Reminder all bread is made in-house and to die for!

Vegetarian options: I am not a Vegetarian but try to have two - three plus days of only veggies per week. There are plenty of pasta and vegi options or pizza or calzones and ingredients are of high quality!“

The same issue happened again today. The manager, Shawn, immediately came to apologize to me at the table. He had fresh food come out to me super quick. He also returned to check on us, gave us a gift card, and said that he hoped we would return to give this location another chance. “We went to Mel’s on Johnston St. this past Saturday. It was busier than usual but there was a visiting football team and their supporters in town. The crowd was loud, but everyone seemed happy. The food came out hot and was very fast! The food and the service was excellent! We love Mel’s and had another great experience!“
