“A true neighborhood bar atmosphere. Very friendly staff and patrons. Bar is small which gives it a much friendlier vibe than a huge, long bar. Pool tables stay busy as does the jukebox, both saying positive things about Shannon’s. Food selection is limited, but it is a bar, not a restaurant. %@&*SMOKING IS ALLOWED. SO IF cigarettes offend you, I warned you. Cigarettes/alcohol store next door. Laundry, awesome nail salon, hair salon, even sewing machine repair…it’s all right here in the same little plaza. Easy in and out parking spots after a “fun” bar time, lol. All reasonably priced so I suggest you check it out!

“It was raining. The breeze off the lake put a slight chill in the air. But the food the company and the $4 Bloody Mary more than made up for it. While they cant take credit for the company, Barley Oak certainly deserves credit for the food and the drinks.“
