First time, definitely not the last. The food was exceptional and also their meatball appetizer.

Cooked to order, fresh and the only Italian place I know with real chefs. ( Locally) When I visit a restaurant I search for quality, freshly cooked food, never rehaeated, no canned sauce, and a unique menu. After two visits to this restaurant, I can say bellinos was all of that. With an updated menu every few weeks the menu options never feel dull. A small menu also allows for cooked to order food. My friend and I ordered 2 appetizers. Mardi gras bread which was so yummy. And the artichoke dip. It was really delicious. I would definitely order this again. My entree was the meatball and pasta. I loved the flavors and it was seasoned to perfection my friend ordered the chicken PARMESAN. My friend said her food was flavorful and seasoned right. Our food came out fresh and very hot. The sauces are made fresh from their own recipe, and the double chocolate cake is moist and tasty. The menu is updated every few weeks, so options never feel dull. The ambiance is romantic, peaceful, and truly Italian. The staff is family oriented and makes guests feel like family. However, some tables of two have felt overlooked, with slow drink service. Despite this, the food is a technical master class, tasting incredibly clean and fresh, making it the best place in Alexandria for top tier culinary food. The food alone is worth every dollar spent.
