Recent Reviews

Captain D's offers delicious seafood that keeps me coming back for more. The crispy fish and hush puppies are always a treat! However, the staff could use some improvement. Service often feels rushed and impersonal. With better customer service, dining here would be an even greater experience.

A huge thank you to the manager and her staff (I have their names written on our receipt in my paperwork somewhere) on duty provided my husband Eric and I with great care. Our food was hot and very delicious. I had a giant fried whitefish sandwich and hush puppies. My husband who always offers some his meal to me, thoroughly enjoyed his meal too. He didn’t much care for the red velvet cheesecake though. We look forward to visiting next time we’re in Alexandria, LA.

Traveling thru Alexandria on our way home.Ordered our food....(drive-thru) out of some side dishes that we wanted. Ordered what they had on hand.Get our order amd take it to where we can eat....missing...No hushpuppies....No utensils to eat with...No dipping sauces or ketchup....No Napkins...The food portions at the Alexandria Captian D's are a lot smaller than the Captain D's in our hometown...Fish was small and the shrimp also.But they did cook the fish and shrimp...
