Preston was great, the manager was rude about needing napkins. We had three children and two adults. We revived 5 napkins and we asked for more, I swear he huffed and brought us 4.

Filthy rest room, I wonder if the kitchen is the same

Service was good, waitress did a good job but it took almost an hour for us to get our food. The waitress said they were short of cooks in the kitchen. The biscuits and gravy came out long before the main breakfast meal so they were cold by the time the rest of the food arrived.

The stuffing was horrible this year it had too much sage in it. Everything else was okay but I was looking forward to the stuffing.

Tonight my grandfather wanted to spend his 80th birthday at Cracker Barrel, which was also Thanksgiving Day! From the hostess to the waiter to the manager, the staff were absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond for him by coming out to sing all together and giving him ice cream. Definitely a top tier experience for our family and especially on a holiday. The food and service was prompt, great quality and exactly what it should taste like. Thank you for down home Cracker Barrel experience. 💕

I had one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time at Cracker Barrel. From the second I walked in, it felt like more than just a restaurant, it felt welcoming. The host greeted me with a genuine smile, and our server treated us like she’d known us for years. She checked on us without rushing, remembered our names, and even made sure my favorite drink never hit empty.

The food came out hot and comforting, but the service is what truly stayed with me. After a long week, it meant a lot to sit down, relax, and be taken care of with that kind of warmth and attention. Nothing felt forced, just real, thoughtful hospitality.

Cracker Barrel didn’t just give me a good meal; they gave me a moment to breathe and feel appreciated. That experience is rare, and it’s the reason I’ll definitely be going back and telling others about it.

My recent visit to Cracker Barrel was nothing short of excellent. The moment I walked in, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed. No rushing, no waiting, just warm hospitality that’s hard to find these days. Our server checked on us at the perfect times, made thoughtful recommendations, and treated us like family rather than just another table.

The food came out hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered, but the service is what truly set the experience apart. Drinks were refilled before we even had to ask, special requests were handled with a smile, and every interaction felt sincere.

Cracker Barrel didn’t just serve a great meal, they delivered an experience rooted in kindness, attentiveness, and true Southern hospitality. It’s rare to leave a restaurant feeling both full and appreciated, but that’s exactly what happened. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this location to everyone.

My first time ever going into Cracker Barrel & it was by far not what people made me think it was. The service was impeccable, my servers name was Briley. She was so kind and sweet. My food came out rather fast. I was able to eat and do some shopping all in one place. The cashiers were friendly and very helpful.

Cracker Barrel in Alexandria delivers exactly what you expect from the chain: comforting Southern-style food, a cozy old-country atmosphere, and friendly service. The restaurant is usually clean and well kept, and the country store up front always has something fun to browse while you wait.

Service here is generally quick and attentive. Most staff members are warm and welcoming, even during busy hours. The food arrives hot, and classics like the Chicken n’ Dumplins, Country Fried Steak, and the Hashbrown Casserole are consistently good.

Wait times can get a little long during peak hours, especially on weekends, but the seating area and store help make it more bearable. Occasionally, the food can be hit-or-miss depending on the crowd, but overall it's a reliable spot for a hearty meal.

If you’re traveling through or a local looking for a dependable Southern comfort meal, this Cracker Barrel is a solid choice.
