Terrible service..our waiter didn't seem to know anything about the menu and gave us our check way before we were finished eating. The food was mid. Probably would not come here again.

We went in for a birthday dinner tonight. Were sat at a grill table for a few minutes looking at our menus. Then the hostess asks the grill table behind us to skooch over and she asks us to move to their table. She places us at the seats that she moved them from without giving us new place seatings. We get the ones that they had already messed with.
I get if you need to fill a table but she knew that before she sat us. She should have provided us clean place settings or allowed us to take the ones from where we were sat first if she was going to move us after sitting. Unsanitary!

Absolutely disgusting. There was hair in my sushi and it was supposed to be my college graduation lunch. The Shreveport location makes this one look sad.

At the front, the hostess wasn't friendly and walked away from us without telling us to follow her or that she was checking their availability. We waited 20 minutes for a server to come to our table while two more couples were sat in our section and received their drinks and their orders were taken before us. After getting our drinks, it took an hour for us to get our food. When the server dropped off one of our meals (the other about 10 minutes after), we both needed refills and he walked off and then turned back to grab our empty cups that had been on the table for 20 minutes. After we finished eating, we waited for someone to come back so we could ask for to-go boxes and our ticket. Another 15 minutes went by before someone walked by us and we asked her for boxes and the ticket, then our server returned, smelling faintly of weed.

Food was great! Service was good up until the end. However had somewhere to be so asked the manager at the bar while he was talking to an employee for boxes and the check. He said okay, you can go sit down but the vibe was very much get out my face im busy. He could take a note on being more humble I hope he doesn't talk to his employees like this on a daily. Also paid 80 plus dollars for 2 adults and kid... Ridiculous

It was my wife’s birthday and we had a party for 5 for lunch. The service was slow to begin - waiting for some time before our server took our drinks order. When it arrived it was wrong for 5 out of 9 at our table. It then seemed an eternity before our food order was taken. The cook then decided to not only cook for 9 (I thought it was their policy to have only 8 at a table) but for an extra 3 ! My son in law had to wait extra time because they had forgotten his chicken. Overall it cost $200 for 5 with no drink refills and service that was truly awful. No tip left - you didn’t deserve it. I will not be returning.

The food is amazing but the man upfront decided he was going to wait to tell the chefs to make our order until we got there to pick up our preordered food. SIR. I said I wanted it ready for 4:30. It’s not for you to decide to hold off on making it up we showed up about 39 minutes late (unforced circumstances). We were already in a. Time crunch and you made it worse. Next time, listen to the customer. Even if you wanted it as fresh as possible, I don’t care. So beware anyone who preorders food.

It’s the only traditional Hibachi experience in town, so it remains a popular place for larger parties and special occasions. Wait time usually is short and food is great more times than not. I’ve had mixed experiences for sure, but nothing that would ever prevent me from going back. All in all, a very decent meal in Alexandria.
