Food was good and portion size for price was also good. Our server (Ashley. Hope I got right spelling) was polite, quick and attentive. Took our drink and food order right away. Food was served quickly. These are the reasons I visit when in Alexandria.
I have always loved Los Portales but recently ever time I have went I have gotten the same male server, every time I am with my husband he is nice and attentive, but if I am alone or with friends he never checks on us. I personally always tip great like at least 40% sometimes even 50% so he has no reason to be act that way. The chips and salsa were good. It wasn't too hot. Service was great. The food was good. I got an enchilada. They didn't hurry us out of there.
