I've had better barbecue at chain restaurants, like Dickey's. They only serve seafood on Fridays and I should've known not to order it. The shrimp was really bland, they only have Kraft tartar sauce packets, the coleslaw was drowning in watery mayo. The sausage was the only really good thing I tried.
2nd stop when driving through Alexandria from south Louisiana, Lafayette. Enjoyed 1st visit. Aa leaving for trip knew we wanted to stop again so skipped breakfast for early lunch. Bbq was great and tender. Good sides choices to accompany bbq. Clean facility. Courteous employees. Would stop again
Food was great, service was awesome, very welcoming staff! From the order taker to the person that delivered our food to our table everyone had a smile and spoke to us kindly that makes such a huge difference when getting service from any place!
