Pamela’s Bayou in a Bowl is amazing. We loved the plate lunches, especially the smothered chicken and gravy, which was packed with flavor. The Mac and cheese was the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The portions were huge, and the staff was super friendly.
My friend had the smothered pork chop and said, “I’m feeling a bit emotional, I haven’t had rice and gravy this good since before I lost my mother.” If you want delicious Southern food, this is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back!

I’m so glad Google pull up this restaurant. The food was excellent. A delicious plate lunch with yummy sides. The portion amount is more than enough. The workers/owner was very nice and recognized “first-timers”. She was very helpful. Don’t miss going to this eatery. Great home cooked meal!
