Pho U Vietnamese Cuisine is absolutely amazing! The food is packed with flavor and tastes super fresh. The pho is rich and comforting, and the grilled pork chop is perfectly seasoned and tender. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get.

This will always be my favorite pho. There is no other pho this authentic. I had food poisoning and wasn’t able to eat for 2 days, but I was able to eat pho.

CHECK YOUR CARD CHARGE! I love the summer rolls from here, but I don't think I will be able to return after a recent experience. I ordered a carryout order of the summer rolls, and the server decided to put in a tip that I did not leave. Luckily I kept my copy of the receipt to dispute the charge. Although the additional amount wasn't much, it's concerning to know that they may charge you more than you paid for. Pictures included of my receipt and the card statement showing the 20% tip was selected. Very disappointing.

I would highly recommend Pho U! From the minute we got to the door Mrs Tammy welcomed my group like we were long time friends. The rest of the staff were just as amazing. The food was delicious, let me just say the peanut sauce yum! It is the perfect atmosphere for any occasion. Will definitely return when in the area.

Took my daughter to eat yesterday and my server (Latonya Ann is the name on the receipt) was very rude, had a horrible attitude, and acted as if we were a bother. She sat down and didn’t bother to check on us after getting our food. The other guy working was very nice to us. The food was good. Just need better customer service and better attitudes.

Their food is great quality. My favorites are the shrimp spring rolls, steamed buns, & of course the pho!

I love the service, the ladies who take my order know me. And the FOOD is so yummy. I love it and miss it when I'm out of town for work.

Good service and prompt
But what they serve isn't pho

It's a paste stock with noodles, not a bone broth and I didn't even get any basil or sirachi/hoisen on the table

The jasmine was a tiny bag from the store next door and a cup of hot water

It's not authentic nor delicious. But it's the only pho place in alexandria

I usually don't leave reviews but I had to after just now eating at Pho U. The food itself was very good, but the attitude of the servers was awful enough that I will not come back. There were only two servers on the floor, and both acted like it was a burden to even speak to customers. Our server jerked the cup out of my friend's hand when he asked for a refill and acted annoyed when I asked a couple quick questions about the menu. I heard the other server catch an attitude with a couple that walked in asking for tea to go. As someone that used to wait tables, it really bothered me to see waitstaff treat customers poorly. I will not eat at a place again that makes me and others feel like a burden for dining there.

Food is typically good, but the owner could really use a refresher in customer service. I ordered two chicken pho to-go orders and, after driving over 40 minutes home, realized there was no chicken and the greasy broth barely filled half the container. It didn’t even come close to filling a soup bowl for my kids. I called the restaurant, and the staff (Latonya) was very kind and apologetic, which I appreciated. However, the next day, the owner called me around noon and offered a bizarre solution — to send the pieces of chicken home with an employee who lived nearby and have them deliver it to me that night? Seriously? That’s not a reasonable solution for a messed-up to-go order. When I asked for a credit for next time or a refund, I was offered $5 for the missing chicken. At that point, I told them to keep the $5. It’s not about the money, but rather the principle and how the situation was handled. Unfortunately, this experience left me with no desire to return. I will stick with Noodles Grill and more. Not only is the food better but the family run business would never treat customers this way.
