This is a destination restaurant. Located on and above Bayou Fusilier this dining areas are decorated in attractive antique modern furnishings. The menu and food is outstanding. Service is casual and professional. The two owners ensure a quality dining experience. Highly

We had a reservation on a Saturday night. We get there and they say it's a really long wait for food to try the buffet. The food was not good and it was cold. The gumbo was the only thing that was good and the only reason I gave it two stars. Was not worth 30 dollars per person.

This was truly a little diamond of a restaurant in the cutest little town in Louisiana with excellent food and superb service! Hayden was probably one of the BEST servers I have had the pleasure to dine with ..he was very personable and attentive to our needs!! He had excellent suggestions and went out of his way to make sure we had the best possible experience (we drove from Alabama to an event in Baton Rouge then out of our way onto Arnaudville just to see and eat at the restaurant)! It definitely did not disappoint! If you're ever close to this gem of a little town please stop by ..the restaurant is adorably decorated and sits on the water which makes for a fabulous overall experience!

The online reservation didn't work quite right and led to me having 2 reservations even though I communicated with the restaurant to straighten it out. Everyone in my party chose the buffet. The first thing I chose was the barbecue pork rib, oven baked sweet potatoes, and a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo. The rib didn't appear to have been grilled. Maybe it had been boiled and put onto the bar with sauce poured on top. It was tougher than nails. I told the manager. The sweet potatoes were a hit! They used fresh sweet potatoes. The gumbo must have been made in northern remote regions of the United States. It was made with unseasoned brown liquid and ONLY chicken and sausage. On my next trip to the buffet, I tried what was called creme Brule French toast. I tasted bread pudding but what do I know. The egg frittata was beautiful and tasteless, maybe it is supposed to be. At that point, I gave up on the buffet. I had finished about a third of my glass of water and felt like my stomach was stuffed beyond 2 capacities! I had hardly eaten anything! I drove for 2 hours to eat at a place I've been meaning to eat at for over 4 years because the reviews told me I should. I'm glad I have and can warn others that the buffet, perhaps, shouldn't be your first choice. I'm going to go back one day. When I do, I'll be making my reservation by phone, ordering off the menu and sitting on the patio.

It was pretty good. I'm not from the area, but I had heard a lot of good things about it. So I wanted to try it myself.

I loved everything about this place! From the host that greeted us at the door, the seating area outside, our waitress and other staff were all excellent. The food was beyond amazing and definitely recommend. I can’t wait to go back to try many more dishes!

Let me start by saying I’ve never left a review on Google..However, I felt it was necessary, being that some people would lead you to believe this place is better than sliced bread. First of all, there is ZERO PARKING! Secondly, they want you to have a reservation for ANY TIME on the weekends, even though the place was DEAD at 3:00 p.m. Moreover, they don’t serve ANYTHING but appetizers and cocktails from 3:00 to 5:00. To make matters worse, our waiter, Colin, walked by us numerous times before realizing we hadn’t been served, so it took 20 minutes to get water after being seated. Finally, the food…we ordered chicken and sausage gumbo, praline chicken pieces, and French fries. The gumbo was BARELY room temperature and absolutely disgusting! It was so salty and greasy, that it truly wasn’t edible. The French fries were obviously cooked in cold grease, as they were soft and floppy. The chicken pieces were bland at best. The decor was “cute”, but the hype over this place is just that…HYPE!

Took an hour to get 1 piece of fish that wasn’t warm. I had to go get my own menu and silverware and when I needed a drink refill had to get my drink at the bar myself. Not worth the drive and time nor the money.

I have been dying to check this place out from all of the photos I've seen on Facebook. We went on a Saturday and all four of us chose to do the brunch buffet because it was a great deal! Our favorites were the chicken and sausage gumbo, the stone ground grits, the stuffed pork, and the praline chicken!! The cinnamon rolls were a little burnt but they were still good.Service was a little meh, but I will give our girl the benefit of the doubt because she was trying to service the whole bar area as well as tables in the dining room! They seemed a little understaffed for a Friday, but we weren't in a rush. Poor girl seemed a little frazzled. We each paid separately, but she didn't split the "mimosas for the table" across all 4 bills so one person got stuck with the full $35 charge for that and we had to venmo her our share of the cost.Parking was also questionable? There wasn't a clear space to park for this restaurant. We ended up parking at the grocery store across the street and walking over.Overall, I would definitely try this place again! I'd love to come back in the late spring or early summer when they have all their plants outside on the upper and lower decks.Parking: There's not really any clear parking area for this business. Seems like most people were parking at the little grocery store across the street and walking over.

Crawfish cornbread was not cooked thru out. Steak and chicken fried steak was below average on appearance and taste. Sorry I made the trip.
