Myran's Restaurant Reviews
More like NO SERVICE. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. More than one table of patrons arrived after my sister and I and they were served their food and left while we were sitting there. After waiting a half an hour we decided that we were not welcome there so we pay for our drinks and we left.
My husband and I travel to southern Louisiana the first weekend in May every year to partake in the crawfish festival. As a result, we like to dine at as many local establishments as possible and we always try to give an elaborate, detailed review. Let me preface this by saying I come from a family that owned a restaurant for 24 years and I have high standards. Since we come to town for crawfish, that is usually the first thing on the menu. It is not my favorite, but my husband...read full review
We tried again after many years of saying we would not go back. Bad decision. We got 2 orders of boiled crawfish and a kids tender order. The hill was 100.00. No drinks.
Service was terrible. Took 25 minutes to take our order. Crawfish was small. Not seasoned at all. We asked for more dip when we were halfway done because they give you about 2 tablespoons of dip for 4 pounds of crawfish. The waitress never came back with it. We had to go up to the counter to pay because we...read full review

Myran's Restaurant offers a genuine Cajun experience, especially during crawfish season when crawfish boil is a highlight. Guests enjoy outside seating on Bayou Teche, which adds to the authentic atmosphere. The crawfish are well cooked, presented nicely, and priced right, with options for spicy or regular. While some visitors prefer their crawfish boiled in the traditional way to achieve the desired spice, others find that some places add powdered heat after boiling, which can be messier and less flavorful. Despite this, the crawfish at Myran's are praised for their quality.
The menu includes other dishes like fried catfish, chicken tenders, fried mushrooms, and fish and chips. The fried catfish is often described as seasoned to perfection, cooked well, and served hot, making it a standout item. However, service can vary; some guests have experienced slow service, long waits, and inconsistent attention, such as missing napkins or utensils initially. This indicates that the restaurant may be short-staffed at times.
In addition to seafood, some reviews mention the restaurant’s dungeness crab clusters, which are highly recommended for their perfect seasoning and boiling, with crab legs and joints coming out whole and easy to eat. Overall, Myran's Restaurant is appreciated for its good food and authentic Cajun vibe, though service consistency remains an area for improvement. Visitors looking for quality crawfish, seasoned seafood, and a taste of Louisiana will find this spot worth a visit.
