“My husband and I travel to southern Louisiana the first weekend in May every year to partake in the crawfish festival. As a result, we like to dine at as many local establishments as possible and we always try to give an elaborate, detailed review. Let me preface this by saying I come from a family that owned a restaurant for 24 years and I have high standards. Since we come to town for crawfish, that is usually the first thing on the menu. It is not my favorite, but my husband loves it. So he ordered the crawfish(platter I think) which was a couple pounds with corn and potatoes. We were offered regular or spicy. Right here is where things get different. We eat a LOT of crawfish down here and we do our own crawfish boils. You can choose “spicy” and obtain that by leaving them in the pot for a few extra minutes to soak up the seasonings and they will be “spicy”. However, there are a few places that try to obtain the “spicy” by adding a powdered heat to it after they have been removed from the pot. If you like that way, that’s fine. We do not. We find that all it does is get all over your hands and face and really doesn’t add very much flavor to the meat at all. Each to their own. On the flip side. The crawfish were cooked and presented well and they were priced right. I had fried catfish. This too presented its own problems since it was brought on a basket, but I didn’t receive any napkins, a plate, or a fork. I did go and ask for them and received all of them. I realize that most people are ok to eat certain things with their hands, but I am a nurse by trade and I know what is lurking around on people’s hands. There will never be a day when I will eat anything with my hands. On the flip side. The catfish was phenomenal!! It was seasoned to perfection! Cooked exquisitely well and served hot! On a scale of 1-10. I’d give them a 7.5. It was good. The things they did good, they did really good.“

“Came to Lafayette for our anniversary and took my husband here for the raw oysters and Cajun food. They did not disappoint. The live music was fantastic and everyone was so friendly. Can’t wait to come back.“

“I love this restaurant but HATE this location. They do not take pride in their plates. Not sure when they stopped putting the salads in its own container but I just got a salad full of sauce and rice. The customer service at this location is also lacking. Employees are always on their cell phones even when a customer walks in.“

“THE BEST chinese food I've had in my life ngl im shocked that in opealousas we got food like this. They put their WHOLE soul into cooking here I never ate so much in my life. The chicken on a stick is so tender and flavorful I shamelessly ate 4 back to back. Usually not a big eater, I ate enough food for 4 people.“

“The night we learned was the night of the Super Bowl. And the guacamole was extremely salty. And the martini was of no type. I've ever talked about paste it in my life. I spoke to the owner about it. And they did it, we're going to make the corrections, but I have to say that our waitress was absolutely wonderful and very helpful. I'd be willing to go back and try the food 1 more time and hopes that they have corrected the salt issue, but other than that, it was a nice place. We had a nice visit with our waitress.“
